      2008 **** F-350 bought at prestige motors in ***** **. 2k down payment+ trade in. 32k leasing with warranty and insurance. Issues arose after contract signed. No issues at the time of test driving. Sales man took the truck to fuel up and it came back smoking. Scheduled to have issues taken care of at the dealership. Dealership had diagnostics done. Blown engine found *****k repair quote. Claim was made through liberty shield auto. Warranty unable to pay for repairs. Dealership cant do anything for me, GM insinuated it to be my fault. I was lied to about what I was buying and promised resolutions that didnt happen. The truck has been in the shop longer than Ive had it in my position. The dealership is very hard to work with and did not report issues when asked about service history until later down the line when it was being serviced and already leased. I would like to have this resolved by a new engine, replacement vehicle or total contract buy out with no money out of my pocket.

      ****************** PURCHASED THE ***** JULY 10TH 2021. IN AUGUST ***** BROUGHT THE ***** INTO OUR SHOP WITH A COMPLAINT OF VEHICLE SMOKING. WE DECIDED TO TAKE THE ***** TO A LOCAL DIESEL SHOP(MUSCLE MOTORS LLC) TO HAVE IT CHECKED OUT BY A SHOP THE SPECIALIZES IN DIESELS. THEY INDICATED TO ** THE ***** HAD BEEN "DRIVIN HARD" AND NEEDED A NEW ENGINE. IN ORDER TO PROPERLY FILE A CLAIM WE NEEDED FURTHER DIAGNOSTICS, WHICH, BECAUSE OF THEIR FULL SCHEDULE THEY WEREN'T ABLE TO IN A TIMELY MANNER WORK ON THE ***** FOR **. SO, WE DECIDED TO TAKE THE ***** TO A 2ND DIESEL SHOP FOR FURTHER INSPECTION AND TESTING.
      WE THEN TOOK IT TO ***********************, THEY DIAGNOSED THE ***** FURTHER WITH A COMPRESSION TEST AND THAT SHOWED 4% LOW COMPRESSION(WHICH IS ACCEPTABLE), THEY ALSO DID A POWER BALANCE TEST WHICH TESTS ALL INJECTORS AND FOUND THEY ALL WORKED PROPERLY. THE LAST TEST THEY DID WAS A "BLOW BY" TEST, WHICH SHOWED AN ABOVE NORMAL AMOUNT OF "BLOW BY" WHICH LEAD TO THEIR OVERALL DIAGNOSTICS THAT THE ***** NEEDED NEW PISTON RINGS. WITH A PROPER DIAGNOSTIC, WE THEN BROUGHT THE VEHICLE TO OUR SHOP AND PROCEEDED TO RUN A CLAIM WITH LIBERTY SHIELD, THEY ASKED ** TO "TEAR IT DOWN" TO THE POINT OF FAILURE, WHICH WE DID. LIBERTY SHIELD THEN SENT OUT AN INSPECTOR TO EXAMINE THE ***** AND SUBSEQUENTLY DENIED THE CLAIM BECAUSE THE VEHICLE HAS AN "EGR DELETE". AT THIS POINT, WE OFFERED TO ****************** AN OPTION TO HELP HIM REPAIR THE *****. OUR OFFER WAS THAT IF HE PROVIDED THE NECESSARY PARTS TO FIX THE ***** WE WOULD COVER ALL LABOR INVOLVED. ****************** INDICATED HE WOULD LET ** KNOW HOW HE WOULD LIKE TO PROCEED. OUR NEXT COMMUNICATION WITH HIM IS NOW THIS BBB COMPLAINT. WE STILL OFFER TO COVER THE LABOR AT NO COST TO ******************. WE CURRENTLY HAVE PAID TWO, 3RD PARTY SHOPS FOR DIAGNOSTICS AND TESTINGS PLUS OVER 12 HOURS IN OUR IN HOUSE SHOP WORKING ON HIS ***** @ $130 PER HOUR, WHICH CLEARLY INDICATES OUR WILLINGNESS TO HELP IN THIS SITUATION.

      I am rejecting this response because: 

      when I purchased this truck on July 10th with prestige motors, I was expecting a decent working vehicle. When problems arose before I even took it off the lot, i immediately brought attention to the sales man. He promised me the vehicle would be covered up to a full engine replacement with the warranty if needed. After finding out the warranty was unable to help, I expect the dealership to provide engine replacement due to selling the truck in those conditions. They never offered to repair the engine, I was told by sales and service that the engine had to be replaced. Regardless of repair costs, the dealership should fix the truck and hold up to the promises made.

      5/14/2021 when we bought the car, a 2014 Cadillac cts4. Concerns was brakes are bad and it was ignored and was told they are good. Another concern was they serviced the car and put a sticker on the window but when I took it to another dealer the filter was never changed that the company only added more oil. That's twice that I was lied to, the car cost me $25,000 and they treated everything poorly and still haven't fixed my concerns brakes is a safety hazard and they didn't even care also with very old filter if I kept driving it that way it could cause a major issue. The car was bought at prestige care center in pasco wa ***** and our seller name is Armando A*****.

      To whom it may concern, 


      When we sold this CTS we did an oil change, a NEW oil filter and ALSO replaced an axel(which was an act of good will and not an original agreement). We also inspected the brakes and found them to be within our safety specs. We have a solid reputation for selling quality vehicles and would never cut a corner, especially when safety is at hand. We would love to review the "estimate/write-up" from the mechanic shop that this vehicle was taken to after it left our service center.
