2019 Remodeling by WA State Kitchen and Bath. The new ********************** fireplace was installed. 11/30/2022 had fireplace serviced. The ********************* man, ****, from Fireside had to pull the box out to repair the pilot light, but discovered that this fireplace was installed incorrectly and was definitely not according to code, not according to the manufacturers requirements. This fireplace should have been installed into my former wood burning fireplace and not into a chase cavity. Furthermore, the clearances were too close to combustible wood frame.**** recommended an insert around this fireplace and the clearances corrected before using this fireplace.Initial Complaint

I pre-paid Washington State Kitchen and bath also DBA Interior Design Specialist to hire me a architect. Ten weeks went by, no update. I requested a refund because i found another Architect. Mind you, NO WORK was performed, Nothing was performed. Nothing. They simply held my money without updating me. I had intended to use them for the remodeling but no longer. They refused to fund my money in full adding fake fees. Like sales tax and B&O even though nothing had taken place. They then deleted this file hoping I would keep it. This is a scam company. I will be pushing to have their business license revoked. I expect a 100% refund and a apology for wasting my time.Business response

Although we do thank Mr. ***** for his consideration, he has chosen to cancel his work order and is refusing to work within the terms of his mutually accepted agreement per the cancellation clause. He has made several threats and in doing so we have referred this to our legal team for resolution. This will be our only response, we wish him the best in his endeavors.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:In their own documentation they state work performed. NO work was performed. Tell them to upload their contract and re-read. Holding money for an architect and not actually conducting work does not fall within their documentation. This company is a scam. Here are photos of them not performing correctly from multiple consumers.
I am a disabled veteran and feel they are practicing discriminably practices. I have already spoken to Bob ********* office and will be filling a fraud report on this business no later than Friday should they not comply and refund me the full amount. NO work was performed. Nothing, and the one visit was free per their own advertisement. They tried to charge me a trip fee for 250 but they themselves stated "We have third party contractors for architect" So WA state bath and kitchen wouldn't even be doing any work. This is a scam.
I expect a full refund and a apology because It will only get worst from here. I will not stop until they either refund me or their business license is revoked. Its toooo easy to make money in this country, preying on disabled veterans and scramming customers is not the way. Repent and make your business better.
