On May 29th, 2023 I went to Wenatchee autoplex (car dealership) to find a new car. ******** showed me a ************************************ and had not been inspected yet. Salesman pushed the jeep on me, said I could take it home that day. Test drove it, everything was fine besides the check engine light being on. In the contract I signed when I bought the jeep, the salesman wrote that they would fix whatevers causing the check engine light. At first, they did not know what was wrong and offered me a $500 to accept it as is and I said no. They replaced my fuel tank twice, and that did not work. Then they offered to get me into a different car straight across for what I owed for the jeep. On that day, they offered me 4 grand less than what I paid for the jeep and wanted to tack it onto the new loan for the new car. I told him I did not have that type of money. If I did not pay the difference, they said they would not help me get into a new car. The owner, ****, then said he would fix the check engine light. Every time it has been in the shop I have been left without a car, even when I explained that I needed a car to transport my clients at work. It has now almost been a year since they have signed the contract to fix it and no progress has been made, and they will not let me out of the loan. In the contract, it states all work must be completed within 30 days.Customer response
