On December 19 2022 I placed an order for 5 gift baskets. On 2 of the gift baskets I paid and extra $9.95 for the package to be delivered on the 23rd right before Christmas. Its now the 26th and the packages have still NOT arrived. I reached out to customer service to be reimbursed for the additional amount I paid for expedited shipping but Gifttree is refusing to provide a refund because the delay was weather related. Im not sure how that makes sense. Its pretty simple. If I pay for a package specifically to be delivered on a specific day and its not, I should be reimbursed for the amount I payed for the specific day shipping. Im not understanding how they feel comfortable with handling business in this unacceptable manner.Business response

We do sincerely apologize for the delays, because these are weather related and beyond anyones control we generally are not able to reimburse for delays of this nature. This is outlined in our Shipping FAQ. We will honor your request to be refunded the $9.95 per package, a total refund of $21.65 has been returned to your account and you will see this within 3-5 banking days. Please note that the gift card that was previously issued for these weather delays has been canceled.Customer response

Three weeks ago I began receiving daily emails from GiftTree.com soliciting their products. I tried to unsubscribe but the option to do so doesnt work. I chatted with a customer service rep last week and then called directly a couple of days ago to request that they stop sending me emails. As of today December 11, 2021 the emails continue, I received another one this morning.Business response

I do see that you are currently unsubscribed and I have asked our internal team to take a closer look to see how we can prevent any further instances of you receiving emails. This is a rare occurrence, however it has happened to you and we are very sorry for that. It is never our intention to annoy or inconvenience anyone, especially a previous customer. We please ask for just a bit more patience while we work to resolve this for you and to ask your forgiveness for the trouble we have caused.
