    I was supposed to be given a referral bonus from this company. The denied my referral, stating the email address of my referral was wrong, when it wasnt. They denied my amount after having my friend spend $100 at this company. I am frustrated that they are refusing to honor a promotion they offered.

    Slumberkins offers two options for new customers to shop at a discount on their first order only, which is a choice between options. The first option is a 15% off discount code that is emailed to a new customer upon signing up for **********************' email list for the first time.  The second option is through the Slumberkins Refer-A-Friend program, which gives new customers $40 off their first purchase of $60 or more (pre-tax and shipping) if they have been referred by an existing customer AND do not have previous order history on Slumberkins.com.  *******************************, the Complainant placed Order # ****** on 11/07/23 and emailed Slumberkins **************** on the same day asking to have their new customer offer of 15% off retroactively applied to Order # ******, stating that she forgot to add the discount code upon checkout.  Though retroactive discounts are not a normal operating practice as stated on the FAQs page on Slumberkins.com (********************************), a Slumberkins **************** Agent (CSA) made a one-time accommodation for the Complainant providing a retroactive discount in the form of a 15% refund on the pre-tax value of Order #******.  The Complainant emailed Slumberkins **************** again on 11/10/23 saying they had been referred to Slumberkins as a new customer through the ********************** Refer-A-Friend Program but was unable to apply the referral discount code she received to a new Slumberkins.com order.  The referral discount code is auto-issued by a third party, referral partner platform.  The code did not work on our website because the Complainant had previous order history on Slumberkins.com, Order # ******, which was the subject of her original email on 11/07/23.  This explanation was given to the Complainant by the same Slumberkins CSA in response to her secondary email on 11/10/23.  Please see supporting documentation attached: 1) 11/07/23 email correspondence, 2) 11/10/23 email correspondence, 3) Order # ******, 4) 15% Off New ******** offer email, ************************* Refer-A-Friend offer email
