I brought in a build sheet to order a truck, They made no effort to build the truck I wanted, after seeing the paperwork over and over I was so worn down that I was confused about what I was actually ending up with. I definitely did not want the navigation that is available for this truck. Navigation is available from ram for 400 dollars and the dealership added this on for 800. I was full aware of the 400 dollar offer when I orderd this truck truck. It was added in by the dealer along with other things most of which I noticed. I cant help but think thier mistake were deliberate and the confusion was designed to wear me down and get me to not even realize what i was intialing.Business response

After speaking with ******************, we feel his concerns have been addressed. ****************** assumed we had added dealer markup to his factory ordered naviation system, when in fact, the price quoted was simply the factory price of the option clearly disclosed on the configuration estimate.Nonetheless, we offered to discount the deal $400.00 as an act of good faith.

in Dec 2015 I bought a new 2016 Ram diesel eco from Dick Hannah Ram dealership for $46,000 with big promises of performance. In the last 5 years it was recalled and in service 6 times. Last week it died on the freeway and was towed to Ram service at only 52kmiles. I was told that the engine is out and needs to be replaced for $12,000. I was out of warranty with 2k miles. I believe that a truck that cost this much should not break down at 52k miles. This is a ripoff of the consumer and I believe Chrysler should make it right and pay for the replacement of the engine. Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the complaint filed by **** **** to your office.
We do understand Mrs. ****’s frustration with having an unexpected costly repair and our Service team will always advocate for our customers. Mrs. **** was informed of the steps required to seek a Warranty extension on her engine through Stellantis, who is the vehicle manufacture responsible for the warranty of the vehicle. Mrs. **** declined to contact them and authorized us to perform the repairs. We did provide her with a considerable discount to help her as we do empathize with her situation. Her frustration with the expiration of her Powertrain Warranty is understandable as well as the failure of the engine at her current mileage. Both of these issues would need to be resolved with the Manufacturer of the vehicle. Stellantis has representatives for this type of issue and are usually very helpful. The customer assistance phone number is in the back of her owner’s manual or we can provide it if necessary.
At this time Mrs. **** can still contact Stellantis and seek consideration for reimbursement of her repair costs and we would be happy to assist her with this process in any way we can. She will need the maintenance records for her vehicle as we have not performed any maintenance on it so we would not be able to assist with that portion of her claim.
We are truly sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused. We remain committed to the satisfaction of our customers and will assist Mrs. **** in any way that we are able to.
