Bought an E Ride Pro SS on June 24, 2024. Paid $5,149.99 from Rev Rides. **** arrived July 2 a day late and tracking was all messed up. Bike did not come with front fender or rear shock mud guards. I filled out a warranty form. Still havent received them. My husband was on foot and my son was on the bike when the throttle stopped working and the screen showed ***** error code. Throttle error. It would drive about 10 ft then stall. After that happened a few times, he started walking it home. After walking a hundred yards or so, he decided to try it one more time and this time it took off on him, flipped over, snapped the brake lever, scuffed up the rear fender, cut a hole in the seat, and scratched the headlight. This wasnt a situation where my son was reckless or couldnt handle the bike, this was operational failure of the bike. When the bike was on its side and he had been thrown off, the rear tire was still spinning at a high speed and he was able to get over to it and turn the key off. Fortunately, he got away with a couple bruises and sore wrist. I filled out a warranty for the additional parts as well. Ive called the company at least 7 times leaving voicemails to call me regarding this. Only 1 call back early on with tracking messed up. I emailed 9 times with 1 response to fill out warranty and send videos. I did that. In my emails I asked them to call me to get answers, yet one guy called me on Wednesday morning asking for a video of the wires. I sent him that about ten minutes after the call and a video of my son turning the bike on and the back wheel spinning at a high speed without touching the throttle. The tires just started going like it did when it took off on him. Its Friday now and I still havent heard anything. I would like a full refund or an exchange for a new E Bike Pro SS

    Hello Crystal,

Per our follow up via email and phone on Thursday, July 25th, We are arranging return shipping for your purchase, and will provide a full refund for your order once the bike has been picked up by the shipper.

A couple of notes on the issues experienced with your bike:

    1. **** did not come with fenders: We accepted this issue, and promptly reached out to E Ride to get fenders sent to you. Unfortunately, the manufacturer can be slow to respond, but it is out of REV Rides' hands once we've contacted the manufacturer. Our typical policy is to ship replacement parts directly from REV Rides, but in this case the parts were out of stock at the time of purchase, and thus we requested them from E Ride.

    2. When a bike experiences an error code, per the manual of the bike, the bike should not be ridden under any circumstances until the error is resolved. Any and all further damages experienced while an error code is present due to riding the bike with an error code are out of warranty.

    3. The bike you purchased is not for children. REV Rides does not endorse children riding full sized dirt bikes. As you have allowed your child to ride the bike, we will not accept any future orders from you, and we kindly ask that you purchase any additional products elsewhere.

Purchased the scooter, spent the last two years trying to get them to exchange or repair it, told to take it apart and test it, completely not acceptable , I offered to send it to them and told they refuse to accept it. I was given the run around until out of warranty.. I am Only asking for a replacement and willing to pay shipping costs.

This is not a customer it is a dealer of ours. He bought the scooter, sold it, his customer returned it and this dealer is trying to get warranty. We asked him for some information on the battery so we can verify it is bad. Over the course of many months he finally confirmed the battery is good by having it tested at an independent shop. The only other item that could be wrong with the scooter is the controller. We shipped him a controller. There is nothing we did wrong and we have supported him by responding to his emails every time. He is just upset that he has to work on the scooter, he just wants a free exchange however the scooter is over 2 years old. Our warranty is 1 year. Purchased on Aug 7 2021.

The customer is a dealer and they confirmed the battery is good by testing it at an independent shop. We shipped a controller to him which is the only other item that could cause the issue he is experiencing. The scooter is over 2 years old and warranty is only 1 year but we still sent the controller for free under warranty since the issue arose while the scooter was still under warranty.

    Hi ****,

I understand your frustration with the failed motor that occurred only after 80 miles of riding. We appreciate that you packaged and returned the scooter to us for repair or replacement. Unfortunately, due to some feedback I received from two of my employees that spoke with you, we have decided to refund your order in full and ask that you please do not purchase from us again. I do not feel that your values align with our company. I hope you find the scooter that meets your needs.

    Respectfully,

    ****** - CEO

Revrides improperly setup a contract for warranty coverage through Extend. Extend thinks there is a 2 year warranty coverage through Revrides as the manufacturer. While revrides only supports a 1 year warranty. This has become a struggle to get warranty coverage. It is still not finalized after over 20 emails, multiple phone calls, technical support claims and video verification/ proof of warranty issues. Revrides declared the warranty details will be fixed by Monday at Extend and it is now. I tried to get revrides to provide the warranty part since they are who I chose to do business with. They blame Extend and said they will not cover the item. As the customer I will say this is terrible warranty coverage and service from both Revrides and Extend. I was considering a few more purchases but I will find another dealer. If revrides and Extend expect me to be a loyal customer they would fix the problem and manage the issues internally. This would insulate the customer from their failures. Unfortunately, ********************* from RevRides decided to speak over me and declare the fault is with Extend due to their Black Friday sale in which I had nothing to do with.

    Business Response

    Date: 01/09/2023

The REV Rides CEO has directly contacted Extend warranty and this will be resolved this week. There is nothing in the REV Rides system that we can update since this customer's 1 year warranty with ********************** has already expired. We are doing what we can to escalate this and ensure that Extend honors the warranty for this customer.
