I was told that a crew of 3 strong movers would be at my door ready to go at 8 am sharp, I was the first order of the day. I waited for three hours before calling HQ, and was told that due to "scheduling problems" the crew had to double up on assignments and they were going somewhere else for "a small job" first. I waited two more hours and still hadn't even received an ETA, despite calling HQ several more times. I've been transferred to extensions that don't get picked up. I've been lied to. They're giving me excuses like "oh there's lots of bad traffic today!" Oh really? Five hours worth of traffic??? Absolutely unprofessional. Will be requesting a steep discount. Wouldn't recommend this service to an enemy. GO ELSEWHERE FOR MOVERS.Review from Chris M

Neighbors Moving double charge for moving. They tell you they don't to your face, but thats not true. They are supposed to charge the same weather they are packing, moving or dumping. It's an hourly rate X number of men. But they charged us $2,000 more. We paid travel time, storage fee, boxes, overtime fee and dump fee and hourly rate X number of men. There were no steps and the trucks were able to pull right up to the front door. Still they charged us $2,000 more then there hourly rate for 6 men times number of hours equated. I was there and know how long it took!I put the move on my credit card. The estimate was $4800. The **** was $6,800. They refused to give me a receipt. That is unscrupulous. After 6 weeks they signed to take payment through Realvitalize, its a service that pays Sellers moving costs until the home closes. Realvitalize began disputing the ****. Neighbors moving was holding my credit card hostage with $6,817 on it until Realvitalize would pay. Finally RealVitalized was coherced into paying much more than due.-$6,270. The owner will not pay $6,270 because Realvitalize will eat the difference. They are doing that to get my credit card released. Decide for yourself. I now have the **** 10 weeks later. They quoted us $329.00 an hour. We made sure to book on the day that was the cheapest. They charged us $352.00. for the same day they quoted $329.00. They charged us additional hours. They charged us for when there truck was parked back at their office. One truck left MLT at 4:00 to go back to the office and they charged us till 6:30. They double charged us 3 men for dumping when we are already paying these same 3 men. They charged us the estimated dump fee of $1,000 when their policy is that we pay the actual dump fee with no **** up. We have requested this dump fee slip for months and they will not provide it. RealVitalize has requested it and they will not provide it. They have collected a total of $12,457.58 for us and are holding outReview from Tricia K

Do not book with this company - weve experienced the worst of moves today - from someone doing drugs on the job (noted by the two other movers who were with us), to personal injuries sustained from furniture falling on us, to having to move half of the items ourselves because the movers could not lift them. The list goes on. Its as bad as it gets. To top it off, when we called about these issues, the representative hung up on us. Beware of this company - they should not be in business. Its not just bad service, its a safety risk to you and your family.Review from Sarah B.

DONT USE!!!! BEWARE!!! YOUR STUFF WILL BE STOLEN! After speaking with *** and doing the bid, I was initially sold. The fact they are a veteran run company and I have done countless international moves through the military I figured they would get it. Boy was I wrong, after working initially with ***, everything else went downhill. A beer sign that was my deceased military husbands conveniently didnt show up. When the movers called to see if it was left at the warehouse, it was nowhere to be seen. I was told by the people who delivered my stuff and the customer service people that the sign was probably stolen after I showed them a picture. I asked that all of the people who were at the pack out be questioned on where the sign went. After I had to initiate contact countless with them to check in on the status I was told a month later to be *****, the movers dont remember your move. How convenient when they stole the sign.Review from Jody A

If I could give this company ZERO stars, I would. They are the WORST. We hired them to move my 90 year old mother from her condo to a retirement home. They arrived late, and with a truck that was too small to complete the move. AND without dollies! What movers go to a job without dollies?? Total incompetence! They said they would not be able to complete the move, based on the truck size. We said they could make two trips or complete it the next day. Once the truck was loaded, they took over 90 minutes to arrive at the destination, with no explanation. (A 25 minute drive!) Once there, they told me the job was taking longer than they anticipated and they would be charging us overtime! And they would not be making a second trip. I said they could complete it the next day. He then called his supervisor, Lucas who argued with me. Then, they had Randy call, who was supposed to be the office supervisor. He told us they would only complete the job the next day if we paid the regular hourly rates. When we said it was their fault the truck size wasn't adequate, the driver threatened to leave with all my mothers belongings! They were rude and they are liars. Randy told us that having his movers complete the move without payment is against the LAW! What a joke. So, by this statement - customer service is against the law?? Witnesses saw them throwing items off the truck and just leaving them in the parking garage. Lucky for us, that resident let us know, so we could get the boxes brought to my mother. To this day, we are still trying to get them to return the elevator keys - and have yet to have a call returned after 6 attempts! This outfit is a scam and if I can save anyone some grief - it will be worth the anger I feel even writing this!Neighbors Relocation Services Response

This customer requested moving services for their Mother to move "about a bedroom or so worth of items" to an assisted living facility. Based on that information, we sent an appropriate sized truck to conduct the move. However, upon arrival we discovered that the scope of work was far more than we were led to believe in the phone reservation. After our crew worked over 8 hours trying to facilitate the move, they recommended finishing it the next day. The customer spoke to our Operations Manager and set that up. Ms. also declared that she refused to pay for any of the additional services to be provided the next day. General Manager explained that we would be happy to work something out from a customer service perspective due to the misunderstanding about the size of move they required help with but that we could not complete another day of service for free. At that point the customer hung up the phone on the GM. We have been in daily communication with the customer trying to find an amicable solution however that will require some compromise from both parties and we are happy to assist in any way.Review from Sarah S

This company is the absolute WORST. The head guy of our 3 man crew was rude right from the start, and lied about the drive time. They also showed up with a truck too big to fit into the storage facility garage (even though I confirmed ahead of time on the phone that they would have a truck that fit by giving the exact dimensions of the entryway. "Oh we couldn't get one of those trucks today"). So we had to use up at least 15 minutes just trying to figure out how to best get the truck as close as possible. Which of course they included in the "drive time" which was already highly exaggerated. Then upon unloading the truck that they had packed our stuff on when we got to our new state, we were dismayed to find that they had damaged pretty much everything we own, including flat out breaking bookshelves, dressers, tables, etc. There were marks and dents on pretty much everything. Then they make it so difficult to file a claim (and make you wait forever for a result), that we ended up just filing for the worst damaged (completely destroyed) piece of furniture that was new and very expensive and that was so blatantly mishandled. It was $388 to purchase and they ended up settling for $72. Because that is the "insurance" they offer. Total scam of a business. At best, they have no idea what they are doing. At worst, they hire people who intentionally destroy your property. Zero stars.
