On May 17, 2021, I purchased 2 scooter batteries from Discount Medical, ***************************. Unfortunately both batteries were defective and lost charge quickly. I took both batteries back to Discount Medical and left them with ******, the owner, because he wanted to charge them himself. That evening we took our usual ride with our dogs. The batteries were as before and discharged quickly.I returned the weakest battery. ****** said he would take the battery to his guy, presumably the wholesaler.When we picked it up 2 days later, ****** returned the battery with the comment that he did not take it to be checked out by anyone else. Instead he wanted to install the battery in his scooter for me to drive it so I could see the battery was fine. This would have been an unrealistic exercise since the battery works for short distances. ****** followed us out to the car insisting I follow his suggestion. He was verbally abusive and insulting.Business response

i sold the lady 2 batteries fot her gio go travel scooter. i removed the 10 screws and opened the case, removed the old batteries and installed new ones. she brought them bacl. i again, i removed the screws and opened the case, load tested the batteries and they need charged. i charged them and they load tested perfedt. she picked up the batteries and came back a week later saying they were bad. this time i load tested the batteries and they were perfect. she told ne she wouldn't ttake my word for it and i told her i would take the batteries to my battery guy and have him load test them. i did. he said the batteries are 100 oper cent perfect. i told her the problem is not with her batteries but most likely her scooter. i have not heard from her since.
