As a previous loyal customer of ***********************, I'm appalled at their level of customer service and their disregard for safety. They put myself and my family in an unsafe situation for 7 months knowing my transmission needed replacing but not fixing the actual problem. They now claim the warranty company accidently approved a claim and WON'T continue to fix the ACTUAL problem. I'm shocked they can be in business putting customers in this type of situation.

sunset is very dishonest and the owner ************************* is the most dishonest and teaching all employees at sunset how to s**** people over ... not a man of his word and they upped the price 4k when I got there ... stay away from them

Horrible service. My girlfriend brought a brand new car in 2017 a year later her pistons needed to be changed and now 5 years later they need to be changed again. They did not mention the problem when we sent it in for an oil change.. we said the check engine light came on they said to tear out the engine was $2k and thats not even fixing the problem or diagnosing the problem. They did not mention anything or even try to work something out. Very unprofessional need to work on their service and not selling people cars that will break down a year later.

On November 9th 2021 I agreed to purchase a vehicle for $26,988 from Sunset Chevrolet. When in the finance department I made it clear that I did not need any extra Platinum warranty coverage. I was told that it was $1100. I said no. Then he said $900 and I agreed. Yet, when this gets to their contract which is on a light table that has an obstructed view due to the **** I did not notice that many numbers that we agreed on was changed. For example: they added $499 for something that was never disclosed or agreed to. Added $200 here, $150 there without any verbal disclosure. But what really upset me was they charged $2205 for the Platinum coverage! Even the price of the car was increased to $26,999. In summary, I feel very cheated by the finance department at Sunset Chevrolet. We have brought this to the finance departments attention and have not heard back.

Sunset has you covered with Warranty Protection for Life." This is their Claim and what they advertise!!! Actually bunch of BS. First let me educated the Consumer this is a 3 party warranty you pay for in purchase of the car!!! The Dealership is trying to look good with false advertisement. My family has bought 9 cars in the last 8 years apparently my loyalty dose not equal their loyalty to me. My 2014 *** ****** transmission just went out. I've done all the required oil changes and any of the required manufactured updates that the service writer has informed me of. Unfortunately, the service department missed to inform me of my 90k Transmission update. Therefore, the 3rd party warranty company has denied my claim. After being loyal for almost a decade the best could do was offer me a new transmission at Their cost $ 4000 to me!!! CONSUMER EDUCATE YOURSELVES WITH THE WARRANTY SMALL PRINT!!!a Dealership is not your advocate!!! Just lost all future business from Family and friends. Finally, #********* Quit making crappy transmission. Not my Opinion Read the consumer reviews!!
