On 01/30/2023, I submitted a rental application via the All Star Property Management company. I paid $47.00 for a screening plus an additional $5.00 rush fee. I had not heard anything from the property management company in regards to a determination on my application. I did speak with my landlord and they did state a third party company had reached out to them for a reference very shortly after I applied. After a couple of weeks had gone by, I had attempted to reach out to All Star for a status. I had left several messages with ***** and called during normal business hours and never had received any communication from them. I finally used their online contact request form as well as left another voicemail for ***** expressing my frustration with no contact. ***** did reach out to me the next day stating she never received any response from the third party company they use. She gave me the phone number for another one of her associates that deals with the application process. I contacted her associate and they stated they were going to review my application for the property with the property owner. I received a message the next day stating the property owner went with another applicant but I could get another house on their site, however, they stated the only other house on the site is rented out. They never stated I was denied. A few days later I get an alert from Zillow that the house I applied for with them has been relisted. I contacted them and they stated that they continue to repost properties until they've been rented out. I let ***** know I was informed that her associate told me it had already been rented. ***** stated she doesn't know as she just shows properties. I let her know at this point I felt I was getting the run around and that this process felt like I joke. ***** then called me and again stated she doesn't know how the process works she only shows the houses. I feel that I have been scammed by this property management company.

This review was placed by an applicant who applied for one of *********** through our website which clearly outlines our rental criteria. This applicant become angry and combative when they were told that he did not meet our minimal rental criteria which he accepted when he completed the rental application. We offered him an alternate property that he turned down and subsequently he became very abrasive and disrespectful to my assistant even after she repeatedly asked him How can I help you. We treated him  with repect and dignity and all we received in return was foul language and disrespect.

I moved into a rental property through Allstar Property Mgmt. LLC located at ***************************************************************** on July 20th 2021. I received a notice on 5/1/22 that they were raising my rent from $825 to $995. On June 31st 2022 I emailed property and gave them my notice I would be moving and not renewing my lease. I forwarded a certified letter with one key to the ******************************************************. It is August 1st 2022. I have not received any notification regarding my $1150.00 deposit I paid on the property, and the rental insurancee MSI RENTERS INSURANCE 06/10 PURCHASE ************ TX is still withdrawing rental insurance monthly. I have had nothing but the run around regarding status of deposit returned to me (I gave them my PO Address) and how to resolve continual withdraw from rental insurance on that property I no longer live at.

Tell us why here...Unfortunately from the time ****** moved in she did nothing but complain. She never paid her rent on time. Im back she only paid her rent once she had an agency pay her rent after she was seven months behind. In fact she never paid rent again. Then after she gave us notice that she was moving out without a forwarding address she did $7124.77 worth of damage. To get her to pay any rent or I should say to get the agency to pay the rent we occurred $500 worth of legal fees from the lawyer to draw up the paperwork to get her to get her rent paid. She did not give us a forwarding address so we mailed the disposition deposit and all the forwarding documents that I have attached to you to her. We mailed them 7/6/2022. See the attached copy of the disposition of the deposit. See the move out sheet with photos of the condition of the property reports we sent her & have attached to the BBB files. We have more documentation that we got attached to you but your program only allows us to attach for files. If you send me an email I can respond all the other documentation showing for from what I am stating. About the renters insurance. We asked the tenant to give us proof of renters insurance when they move in. They can supply the renters insurance or through the property management software they can sign up for renters insurance themselves. This is something ****** chose to do. We have nothing to do with this this is a third-party insurance that ****** signed up for and that ****** needs to cancel. I informed her of this and she did nothing but threaten me. I tried to even call the insurance company and cancel it for her but they informed me that shes theIncluding the threats. Now shes trying to tarnish our reputation by reporting us to the Better Business Bureau. ****** stated that she gave notice to vacate while in fact we had to get our lawyer involved to get her to even pay rent and then ask her to leave. This ended up being a legal matter because

****** stated that she gave notice to vacate while in fact we had to get our lawyer involved to get her to even pay rent and then ask her to leave. This ended up being a legal matter. I informed ****** of this and I said that you could contact them and gave them the phone number to reach them. I also informed ****** that she could contact your credit or debit card company and cancel it that way. Again ****** responded to me with threats. I have attached that email to your file showing all the back-and-forth with ******.

Following up on the complaint #******** The fact that the Allstar Property Managment stated I only paid my rent once, and an agency paid for the remainer of the  year should not be public knowledge.  I work for the ******************* and due to a work related injury SNAP assisted me with rent until I could get workmans compensation.  I do not appreciate being belittled.  Also the fact the the paperwork, I did not receive, for a charge of $7,124.77 is being charged to me I contend.  I do have paperwork regarding my walk through of the property at time of move in and their were many, many, damgages I reported at that time.  I was told they would eventally be fixed: bathroom wall with gaps you can see outside, bathroom leaked, only one heater worked in apartment, oven was not workable and took a month to figure out the outlets and fix.  I have multiple pictures when I moved in of the damage.  I am willing to provide with my damage sheet upon move in.  The fact they are advertising this aparment on their All Star Property Website and stated that the property is "completely remolded" would explain why they are charging $7,000 plus dollars and returning none of my $1650.00 Security Deposit and $250.00 pet deposit.  I did forward my current PO Box address on the Allstar Property Management website months ago.  As far as the rental insurance on 08/11/2022 MSI RENTERS INSURANCE 08/10 PURCHASE ************ TX this company once again tried to withdraw from my bank account.  I online reconciled this and the bank called me and we put a block on account so it can not be charged again.  ******** is looking into refunds regarding my complaints, at this time they have not been able to contact this insurance company.  Scary to think if I actually had something happen at my prior address with this renter insurance company, unable to contact or locate.  Thank you for your time and effort Better Business Bureau.  I have more pictures of move in damage of property and actually lease walk through on move in date.

I have already addressed the deposit. I gave you the condition of the property along with the photos and all the expenses. She claimed there was damage to the property when she moved in. Youll see the move-in condition and there was no damage. The owner had just remodeled the property right before she came in. The only issue with the property was an electrical issue. She claimed all kinds of problems with the property but there was none. She claimed that there was black mold there wasnt sickly Ill kinds of things just to get excuses for not paying her rent. See the move in and the move out condition report that Ive already supplied you for condition of the property. Hey also supply to the cost for all the expenses to repair the property back to the condition. If you need any other documentations please let me know.
