I have had Greenscape blowout from sprinkler system for the past 5 years. Each year, there seems to be an issue with their service and one part or another of my system freezes. When I return in the spring, I find some sort of damage. The last 4 years, they have come out and fixed the issue under warranty and it has never been a problem.This year, when I returned there was a valve that had frozen and broke. They came out and fixed it and over long correspondence over the summer they kept saying they would get back to me and review. They told me to ignore the bill until they contacted me. I started getting late notices and someone from Greenscape called to tell me I needed to pay the balance. I told them, I was under the impression this has been solved.Now I continue to get late notices. Greenscape needs to stop sending me billing notices.Initial Complaint

I hired this company to take care of my lawn in April of this year 2021.The did some weed control, some grass fertilizing, weeded my super small garden beds and I also paid them to have someone come out to check the sprinklers, turn on the system and adjust any sprinklers that needed it.My yard is absolutely tiny and there were not many weeds. I didn't take pictures because I didn't think it was necessary. And, anyone can look at the view above my house on one of those map apps. to see how small my yard is.When I received the **** for the bed weeding, Greenscape billed me for 2 people 4 hours each to weed my flower beds. WHICH IS AN ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS amount of time! There weren't even that many weeds!I also paid them to send a guy to turn on my system and adjust/fix any sprinklers that needed it.The guy came out and checked the sprinklers, turned one of them off (that I apparently don't need on), but he didn't adjust the sprinklers that just needed a simple turn of the head.Business response

Thank you for in regard a billing reduction because you feel our cleanup crew took too long on your property. I am sorry you feel this way. The particular team that was there is not the fastest crew but tend to be more detail oriented job. We get numerous calls with positive feedback from our gardening crew, sorry you do not feel the same way. ******** reports they trimmed the bushes in the front and weed the flower beds. They weeded the side yard. There were 2 gardeners for just around 3hrs and 45 min.
We did already reduce your **** by $87.13, you agreed and paid your account in full. Your account has a zero balance.

I am rejecting this response because:I have been insanely overcharged. It should've taken 2 workers no more than 2 hours to clean out my very small flower beds.
The business' reply states knowing that the workers are not fast. However, thorough and slow are not the same thing in this case.
Also, the person I paid to turn on, fix, and adjust my sprinklers, did not adjust any of the sprinklers.
Yes. I know I paid my **** in full to protect my credit. I am requesting at least a partial refund from Greenscape.

I am sorry you feel the way you do. We rarely have complaints on the crew who was at your home. The individual leading your team has been with our company for a year and half and has many happy repeat customers.
Unfortunately it is only an objective opinion on how long a job like weeding can take. I am unsure how long you expected the project should have taken, and at this point we have credited you $80 for the cleanup and billed for $280 plus hauling. We did also cut your sprinkler invoice in half from $68.95(minimum service fee) to $34.48) If you have requested us back to adjust your sprinklers and not adjust your **** we would have been happy to do so. What may have been missed would have been easily remedied in minutes.
I am unsure how much you were planning to spend, but if there was a limit I would encourage you to communicate your budget prior to agreeing to have services provided. We refer to this as a "do not exceed" job and provide service like this semi regularly.

I am rejecting this response because:With all due respect, no one in their right mind would believe that it would take 2 people 4 hours each to weed my flower beds. They are tiny. The kid you sent who came and turned on the system didn't do anything but set the sprinkler timer. He didn't adjust any sprinklers, nor did he replace any sprinkler heads that needed replacing. So, your offer of sending him back to adjust/replace the sprinkler heads is ridiculously laughable. Why would I want another incompetent worker to come out and waste my money again??? Most of the sprinklers in my back yard either needed adjusting or the heads needed to be replaced. I hired another person to do that and now my grass is green. I don't care what kind of feedback you have received regarding the workers who you sent to my house previously. Obviously, that didn't happen this time.
The truth is that I have been grossly overcharged and would like my money back.
