6/24/2021 we were emailed a bid from Jeff Myers to complete a flooring job at our rental property at ********************************************************************. The total was for $5637.75. We agreed and in order to get us scheduled for work in the next couple of months he requested a deposit for $3017 for materials, which we paid by check the next day. After almost 2 months of delays and reasons why he couldn't make it, he finally showed up to meet with our tenants, but she didn't get a good feeling from him and wasn't comfortable letting him in unless he could show her his active license. Since he didn't have one, he left and we had conversations about getting scheduled again once his license was active because he said his CPA was handling that and it should be renewed. Earlier this year 2022 we had some communication about scheduling the work and he said he would let us know when he could schedule. We have consistently continued to follow up, but he is no longer responding to calls, texts, or emails to schedule the work. Instead, I have left messages that we would like to get our $3017 deposit refunded at this point. We need help trying to contact him and get our deposit refunded. Thank you.
