The company assured me they had installed the system and was no problem, I paid 870.00 to have the rv towed to the shop, then the service manager started to lie to me about status, I drove 4 hours to Spokane Washington and then the manager didn’t want to show me my rv because he didn’t do anything but lie to me about the situation , this is after a month of nothing but the run around and excuses, I rent the rv out and am losing 150.00 a day over a bunch of lame excusesBusiness response

Found exhaust manifold bolts are old and rusted. Vehicle is a 1996. Bolts break due to age of vehicle. Necessary to drill and tap. Had to order special tool to access broken bolts due to confined area to work in. Extensive amount of time. Plus we had one technician out due to Covid protocol, another technician out due to a personal unexpected surgery. This put a strain on our schedule. Mr. *****'s coach will be completed by Friday, September 24. We apologize for not meeting the customer's expectations for completion time.Customer response

Washington Auto Carriage (WAC) serviced my horse trailer 8/24-26/2020 for overall safety review at this service the breaker were determined to be "dry" and they were recommended to be "wet" WAC recommended we service both axels to be "wet", which included adding heavy weight oil to the braking system. We agreed to this service. November 2, 2020 the same trailer was returned to WAC for additional service to repair previous damage to the interior and exterior of the roof. The trailer was in WAC possession from November 2nd until February 26,2021. On May 4, 2021 the trailer was taken to **** *** ** in Post Falls to have the living quarter checked for any problems and have the generator repaired. In the review they discovered the breaks were damaged beyond repair as a result of grease not heavy weight oil used in previous service. ****** ***** contacted WAC service manager Todd to review concern and ask for assistance to resolve repair. **** *** ** took pictures of damaged, furnished WACBusiness response

WAC installed and billed customer for heavy weight hub oil, not grease, when it serviced
customer’s trailer hubs 11 months ago. Photographs provided by customer show that the
grease found in customer’s trailer hubs 9 month later was red. But WAC exclusively uses only
bright blue-colored grease for repairs to other types of trailers that have grease-type
lubrication. WAC has not stocked or used any red-colored grease for trailer repairs for many
years. It is obvious that someone else removed the hub oil WAC had installed and replaced it
with a type of grease WAC does not and has not used.Customer response

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:The response from WAC suggests that we had another person between WAC and **** *** ** work on our trailer. This is a lie. The trailer was in the possession of WAC from November 2020 to February 2021. We used the trailer in the interim times of August 2020- November 2020 --The trailer did not go into another shop or have a mechanic or individual of any kind look at or break down the brake system. This also includes the time we received the trailer back from WAC until took the trailer for an overview of condition at **** *** ** in the beginning of May 2021. The trailer has been in our passion from August 2020 to current. The brake service completed by WAC on August 26, 2020 and then again serviced by **** *** ** in May 2021. During this time period the trailer was used for a total of 6000 miles. Certainly a proper brake service should last much longer than that time period.
To suggest that "someone" else is responsible for the work because of the grease color is outrageous! Is the suggestion that **** *** ** -- set up WAC? The damage to the braking mechanism is clearly seen in the photos previously provided. The only shop that had touched the braking system prior to **** *** ** opening to investigate condition was WAC. So regardless of color of the grease-- they are responsible. UNLESS they in fact did not service the brakes but just made up a bogus invoice and charged us for labor and parts.
Sincerely, ****** ***** and ***** ****
