Over the last few days Ive been receiving phone calls and emails from First American Title. Its been from their escrow division, telling me that Ive purchased a property in *************. *** attempted to notify them that Ive not been involved whatsoever. I am rejecting this response because:I am still receiving phone calls that are becoming harassing at this point. Not phone calls to resolve the issue or apologize. Phone calls requesting more information from me.
I never reached out to you to conduct business. On the property I was connected to recently, by the business. Ive not contacted the business in anyway, before this issue.

i had brought a house on zillow for $130.000 i was told it had 2 things wrong the sewer pipe and the whole needed to be sheetrock that was my trade it says electric heat **** would say it was so hot he had to turn the heat down he was plying both sides of the fence he was handling getting a home insp and a plumber i have ever thing pack i had smell a rat so i got a insp if you look at the report the electric panel is missing with ******************* dangling hot if the ground is wet you will be turn into jelly and ash from the arc you can put a lightbulb in your mouth and do a uncle fester if that is not bad the electric is missing the grounds and if you touch it you will be doing the uncle fester the supports in the garage are missing in the roof and the building is collapsing he sould me a electric panel with 40 wires the insp found no wire are connected i was told the tallit needed a wax seal the ins found no pipes i had ask if any trees are on the property i was told no the insp found rhe tree roots got under the house raising it and cracking the foundation please help me get my name off the deed and get my money back i am going to be homeless with my smiling dogCustomer response

dear bbb this is not good i got a letter from the first american title co sent me a e mail saying thay is no record of me getting a title from them and no record of me buying a house at **************** ********** mt it is wire fraud how about some help i got robbedBusiness response

I bought title insurance for the price of the house that was $77,900. The title company insured the deed for that amount. Now that I'm trying to sell the house, I found out I don't own the property the house sits on. I figured the title insurance company would help correct the problem. 2 times they have turned it down. The deed has 2 paragraphs. The first is an acre of land with nothing on it. The second paragraph is the acre of land that the house sits on. Due to a clerical error, it has "Less and except" at the beginning of the second paragraph. Which means don't include it. I paid American title to look after my interest. American Title insurance say they only insured the acre of land with nothing on it. (For $77,900.) The fair market value of that land today is $960. None of the lawyers caught the error. Now it could cost me $5k to $12k to fix..Business response

I see the property in question is located in ******* and the Claim's handler's contact information is included on the document you attached. I would suggest you contact a local organization to express your concern. I am located in **************** and do not have access to Georgia property information. Thank you for your response and sorry you are still having issues with a resolution. It's not necessary for me to assign the concern to someone, it is already assigned to the respondent on the claim letter you received. I would suggest you work with ***** directly or if you feel working through an organization like the BBB to use a Georgia based organization who can engage directly with the local office.Customer response

I purchased a home last year. I paid for title insurance. I was not told About a easment and never even received the title showing there was one. I paid for this and never received this. I would not have paid full price if I knew what was on the title.Business response
