On April 22, 2022 I visited this restaurant and purchased a meal. As always, I keep my receipts and noticed a double charge on my account that differs than the receipts I was given for authorization of the charge. When I called the business, requesting to speak to the manager, he was not available, and they were not able to access any of the transaction history information. Even when I provided the name of the server, the time of the transaction, the reference # on the receipt, they were not able to find any charges that represented the **** that I had. They said that sometimes, they accidentally overcharge and then have to reverse the charge but it will take a few days to process the refund. I informed them, that what was concerning in addition to this news, is that they did not have ready access to the information I was seeking. I informed the employee that it is important that I speak with the manager when they arrive and resolve this issue quickly. It took four additional phone calls to get an answer (not even from the Manager, but the same employee I spoke with the entire time). According to this employee, there was another set of receipts that they had but had not provided to me that I had been charged for. I informed this employee that without my authorization, charging my card for an unknown receipt is illegal. I wanted to share this information with the BBB because I am extremely concerned about the integrity and legality of this company. Additionally, another person in my party was also double charged.
