I bought all of my laminate flooring my carpet and my tile through great floors. I had great floors install the flooring throughout the house and carpet. My experience with great floors was absolutely horrible and I had to fight with them to come back and fix their problem several times. I have carpet areas that they did not fill the old holes from the old heat registers and when you walk over those areas your foot sinks in the holes! They've had to come back numerous times from the material they put on the stairs falling off and their solution was glue it on! Now less than 2 years later All of the finish on the tile is peeling off the edges and it's a completely different color! My entire experience with them is horrible their product is horrible they blocked me on all of their sites so I can't even call them! Their installers are horrible their material is horrible Their customer service is horrible and they would rather block people than resolve their problems from their materials failing and their installers doing a poor job at best!Review from Myra S.

I had a flood in my house and had to replace my laminate plank floor that looked like 18 by 18 tile flooring. I was told by Great Floors that I could no longer get Plank Flooring and I was referred to *** at Great Floors. I was shown LVP flooring and was told that this is the only flooring that would work and look like tile flooring once done. I then picked out a white flooring that I found on the web site that looked like elongated tile and went into Great Floors. *** (the sales man) told me that he wouldn't go with that one that it would show any dirt. He then took me to a wall with more expensive flooring (up sold me). His exact words were, "I looked at your pictures and this is the closest match we have to the flooring you have in your home currently." I specifically asked him if this would look like tile once it was in on two different occasions at that time and he most assured me that it would. When I came home on the first day of install this floor looked just like a big sheet of flooring and did not in anyway have a tile look to it. I called *** and he said he couldn't be responsible for my choosing of a flooring and that I am not now happy with. I then reminded him that he told me twice that this would look like tile. He then said what did you want the grout lines like tile. I said you saw my flooring and knew I wanted tile look. I told him that he was the sales man and knew the flooring that was coming out of my house and going in and it was his job to know his product. Plus on top of that he said the difference in higth between the pergo flooring the dining and living area wouldn't be noticeable once again very noticeable once again very incorrect information. Buyer beware, I have learned a ***** scam by this company and it employee's that doesn't back their play. After this they wanted me to spend more monies to create carpets to cover the floors that their employees miss represented.Review from Mary Ellen C

We purchased $17,000 of commercial grade LVP and carpet for our business. Appx. 6 weeks later the flooring started to warp. We called Great Floors. The next year we spent calling, going to the show room to have the guarantee enacted to replace flooring. During this time, we found a buyer for our business. My husband was trying everything he could to expediate the replacement of the floors. When he told the manager, *****, we had a buyer and we needed to get the floors replaced a little quicker. ***** stated, "Just sell the business as is and let them worry about the floors" We were appalled at his statement. We continued to call and go to the show room to have the floors replaced. ***** was in a meeting, out of town, on vacation etc. FINALLY, after appx 18 months they approved replacing the floors. It was not the flooring companys responsibility it was Great Floors responsibility. Next didn't call to schedule replacement. Another 3 weeks went by, we went to the showroom AGAIN and ***** states, "Oh I was waiting for you to call me to schedule" UNBELEVIABLE!! The floors are replaced!! No thanks to ***** and Great Floors though. They did upgrade us to another product thankfully. At this point it was little compensation however. The problem was the sales rep did not order a vapor barrier for the original floors. We didn't know we needed this. I specifically asked is there anything else we need. The original installers never said a word to us and they supposedly had installed LVP in a major grocery store chain in our state and nursing homes. We have an adult family home and it has been stressful because it became a safety issue for our residents. The carpet...well I've given up. Which I'm sure ***** is ecstatic about. The carpet is separating at the seams as in pulling apart. I'm purchasing new carpet again NOT FROM GREAT FLOORS! This was the most horrendous customer service I've experienced from any business! I'm measured w/ G.F. for quartz counter tops I CANCELLED!Review from Brenda K

I went to Great Floors and explained that I had experienced water damage to a hard wood floor because of a leak from my dishwasher and that I needed to replace it. Because I am selling the house, I decided that I would get bids and offer potential buyers an allowance so that they could pick their own flooring to replace the existing floor. I spoke with an employee named **** and told him that I needed bids and was interested in **** which he gave me after GF had conducted an inspection. I later changed my mind on the product and asked for a bid for VCF instead, and was told it cost twice as much as the **** so I decided to buy vinyl sheeting instead because of the $7/sf cost as opposed to $1.14/SF for the vinyl sheeting and I asked about installation. **** told me that GF would not do the installation for the lesser priced product. Working with my insurance company on the reparation, they asked that I get a bid for replacing the floor with the same product as was being replaced (oak hardwood 3/4"). I called **** and asked for another bid for that product he told me he couldn't keep giving me bids for flooring.Review from Kenny T

I had great floors do flooring in my house less than a year ago. I left a review right after it was done stating how bad it was. I would just like to add to that review and explain the quality of work was so bad, his work was so bad and the amount of money I had to pay to fix what they're "installers" did to my house was ridiculous and they would not help at all. They were a nightmare to deal with. Still to this day I'm finding problems with my flooring throughout my whole entire house. Such as Holes they did not fill in the sub floor and just covered with carpet. Now when you walk you can feel random holes through the carpet! This was not a cheaphouse nor a cheaper model nor a cheap carpet or flooring we picked throughout the house. I hate my flooring so much it is not even a year old and I'm tempted to rip it out and hire a different company to redo RIGHT!! They will hire anybody with a pulse and put them in your home and their work shows that!Review from David

As of June 2021, Great Floors now requires 100% prepayment of all products and services with a total less than $10,000 (accordingly to Brett and their general manager). This is a completely unreasonable business practice. Go elsewhere.
