*** received my car and 2 days ago for inspection of the steering column. After telling them not to do any work or take anything apart on the car before contacting me, I received a phone call they found the issue, and was quoted a price. I decided to wait and have the car towed home. I received a call later the car was ready for pick up. I opens the car door to a disassembled mess! There were parts scattered through out the car, screws in the shifter pieces everywhere, wires hanging out .My jaw was on the the floor. This was not how it was dropped off. Proceeded to let service know what was going on. Was told " oh we left it like that for you to work on". After expressing that I had given clear instructions NOT to do any work on the car unless notified. I asked for the car to be put back together. Later I receive a call saying the car is done. I arrived, looked at the car and found they had cut a large chunk of the steering column cover. I went and talked to the service guy and he came out took pictures and was trying to deny they did anything. I asked for them to replace the cover they wrecked and have been getting the run around the last couple days. They are now saying that's how the cover is supposed to be. And is still being discussed whether they will do anything. Unbelievable. Terrible service and workmanship. I just want what's right. When a car goes to the shop it should not come out worst than it was.

I bought a pre owned 2018 328d on 10/13/22, within 24hrs of owning this car the engine blew on it. I contacted the dealership and they sent someone to come pick us up because we were stranded on the hwy. They called a towing company (my expense) to come pick up the car from the hyw & gave me a loaner car while they diagnosed what caused the issue. I received the keys & made a walk around video of the car to ensure I would not be blamed for any damage to the loaner, I did not take any time to inspect it because we had already been at the dealership for a few hours waiting and wanted to go get lunch. After lunch I noticed that the front passenger side tire had a hole in it. We sent a picture to the dealership. We were initially accused of hitting a pothole and causing the damage. I was able to show that that wasn't the case with my video. I live an hour and a half away from this dealership & this oversight by the service dpt could have easily caused a blowout on the hwy.My understanding is that the engine blew a rod. The service dpt said that they didn't notice anything wrong when they changed the oil in March; however, when you call to get a price on unpriced vehicles listed on their website, they will tell you they don't have one yet because the cars are inspected & serviced when they come in as a trade before they are priced.....Receiving updates on the status of the repairs on my car were difficult. This caused issues because my job requires me to travel at times and the repairs overlapped Thanksgiving week. I've had this car for 3mths now, it seems to work fine on it. I drive a lot each day, so it was already ready for an oil change. This was the first oil change since having a new engine installed, I thought I should to take it to the dealership so they can service it instead of doing it myself. The dealership's website advertises $179.95 for an oil change on a diesel. This was NOT the price they charged. I left with a bill for $328.99 for the service.
