I hired American Pump and Drilling to perform maintenance on a filtering system attached to my Well. This system hadn't had maintenance for several years. ***, the technician, pulled the filtering system apart and it was kind of a mess. He cleaned it out, flushed it multiple times, replaced a needed part and recharged it. I know he did a quality job and didn't take shortcuts at the cost of sacrificing quality. The work American Pump and Drilling did for me was very well done and at a very reasonable cost. I am a very happy camper.American Pump and Drilling Response

We are a medium sized water system and American Pump is our go-to when we have pump/water delivery issues. They are knowledgeable, thorough, professional and ethical. Their staff knows what theyre doing and are polite and communicate well for those of us with vastly less knowledge. They provide good service, quick, and are helpful. What they fail to disclose is that there is an automatic $300 service charge for any call regardless of the length of time it takes to diagnose and resolve. Makes me hesitant to call for help in the future because the 10 minutes the technician spent in my house came with a surprise $300 bill. Yes, we were informed there was a dispatch fee, there was no mention of how much the dispatch fee was. We will use them in the future but will be hesitant to call unless its an emergency because $300 for a 10 minute support visit feels steep.American Pump and Drilling Response

We did disclose our $295 dispatch fee to your wife when she called to schedule the appointment. We apologize for any disappointment caused by our pricing not meeting your expectations. We pride ourselves in our work and our staff. This dispatch fee allows our technicians to go to our customers' homes and includes up to 1 hour of diagnostic time. Our pricing structure is carefully designed to align with the quality and value of the services we provide.

I called American Pump and Drilling after two unsuccessful attempts by two other companies to diagnose and repair my pump. This was a time when I had no water at my home. *************************** and ******************* arrived at my home on a scorching 98-degree day and worked tirelessly to identify the problem causing the water shortage. Their thorough investigation involved phone calls and consultations with other members of the company. Eventually, they arrived at an amazing solution that didn't require a new pump or well (saving me a lot of money!). The following day, they returned and effortlessly resolved the issue. Their professionalism, patience, and ability to communicate with customers are truly exceptional and rare to find nowadays.
