Hi was completely mislead by this company. The people who took my call stated without hesitation it would be a free estimate. As a single parent struggling to make ends meet - and trying desperately to maintain a home - its important to me that people are honest and that I am getting free estimates for jobs that need to be done. I have to budget everything in to my daily routine. I was shocked when the employee told me there was a trip charge and the cost $98.17! This was not only something I didnt not expect but also information that I would have not agreed to if the person who made the appointment told the truth! I was mislead and lied to by the first point of contact at customer service and want a refund. Thats money that I desperately needed and did not agree to.

Nov 2018 I had a Water tank installed by ********** Plumbing. The ***************** was fast and efficient. It looked like they knew what they were doing and were explaining the process throughout the installation. I was with them the entire time watching the progress. They left and it looked like a good installation to me, I trusted there work and installation process. Fast forward 3 years I was getting an Air Conditioning unit Installation, Not by ********** Plumbing, inspected for Code. The inspector said the ** unit was great but noticed the Water Tank Installation was not up to Washington State Water Heater Code: W** 51-56-0500 section ***** Seismic Provisions. Water heaters shall be anchored or strapped to resist horizontal displacement due to earthquake motion. Strappings shall be at points within the upper one-third and lower one-third of its vertical dimensions. At the lower point, a distance of not less than four (4) inches (102 mm) shall be maintained from the controls to the strapping. I contacted ********** Plumbing about this and they explained to me that this was an option that I turned down. I explained that I was not made aware of this and I firmly believe this should NOT be an option as it is clearly a code violation if they are not installed. ********** Plumbing said they would come out and install straps for $245 with no trip charge. I purchased my own straps at ********** for $20.00 expecting a discount for the parts. The representative from ********** Plumbing showed up at my house this morning to install the straps for $245. No discount for the parts I had purchased. I informed the representative that I didn't think it was right to be charged that amount to put 4 holes in my wall to attach these straps that should have been previously installed. I can't imagine the time required to install these being more then 30 min to an hour. I am more then capable of installing these straps but wanted to give ********** Plumbing the opportunity to make it right. When I informed the ********** Plumbing representative that I was not going to pay that price to attach 4 bolts to attaching studs he was very nice explaining to me where I was to position the straps to comply with the installation code.

In August of 2019 ********** installed a new water heating tank and tank booster in my home. By spring of 2020, there was visibly low hot water flow from every fixture in our home. By July of 2020 (less than a year after installation), a ********** plumber came to our home to diagnose and fix the low hot water flow. The plumber (the same individual who installed the tank and tank booster) said that the problem was a clogged screen in the tank booster. The plumber removed the screen (without replacing them) and said the problem was fixed. The hot water flow was certainly better than before, but not the same as cold water flow. I was charged for his services that day. A year later, the hot water flow has continued to subside and it is now at a trickle. I contacted **********, letting them know that the problem was not fixed. ********** said there is nothing they can do as the part was now out of warranty. The invoices from ********** alone show that the hot water flow has been an issue since just after the installation of the new tank and new tank booster. Contrary to what they claim on their website, ********** have chosen not to stand by the labor and parts that were involved in this installation. I would expect a company with 100 years of plumbing knowledge to know a bad mixing valve when they see one. This is unethical. I recommend people avoid this company.
