On 10/27/23, I signed a contract with Servpro of ******** after a fireplace blowback causing my home to be unlivable. Servpro disposed of personal property with out my permission or signed approval as per their contracted stated and at the same time of the incident had an unauthorized, unemployed female girlfriend of one of their employees at my home without my permission. This was the night my belongs disappeared. I notified Servpro while their employee was still at my home. I was told by the lead employee the night of the incident that disposing the marked boxes that said save, was due to lack of training. The manager as well as project manager apologized as well but have yet to talk about it any further than the night of 12-15-23. In these boxes, I myself set aside, far from anything Servpro would need to be around and had written save in big marker. In the boxes were my deceased mothers , deceased auntie and great great grandmothers jewelry. Servpros lack of respect and communication moving forward after the improperly disposed of boxes has been unprofessional. Servpro will not return calls in a timely manner. I finished battling breast cancer after 14 months and really thought I could trust Servpro. This entire interaction with Servpro has been nothing short of a joke. I feel they are playing a game.My insurance has been trying to pay them and Servpro will not return the calls either. I will be recommending no one to use this company. I feel very taken taken advantage of and violated. As of today 2-1-24, Servpro is still holding my personal belonging hostage and will not communicate to me or my insurance company.
