Bought a **** Chevrolet Silverado from Karz and MORE in ******** ********** on January 30th 2023. Noticed about a month of owning it that the engine had a slight tick when it was idle but it would go away when driving. Another couple weeks later the tick is now a knock that won't go away. Sounded great when I test drove it. Only drove it about 400 miles to and from work. That res no way I'd developed a knock in that time. Confident that Karz and more used an additive to mask the engine knocking.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: selling "as is" but not mentioning a knock or ticking noise on the "as is" is sheet is false advertising.

I bought a car on 7/22for $9000 it ran for 4 days before I had to put in the shop for a month has cost me tons of time and money abs owner is absolutely not willing to help at allBusiness response

Good Morning,
******************** is writing this complaint to the BBB after his Mom already did and it was dismissed. The owner already contacted ******* before this stupid complaint and told him he would be willing to help but his Mom had ruined the chances of that. She had her friends write bad reviews and she also turned us into the BBB which as noted previously.

I am rejecting this response because: besides the tons of horrible reviews on ****** yelp ******** ect with stories exactly the same to my case I highly doubt you were gonna help with anything anyway . Your a fraud and what your doing is fraud .your deceitful car sales need to be shut down because its terrible buisness . You sell cars that only run for a few days off the lot and refuse to take any accountability for the fact that your selling lemons to people . Review speak for them self people need to know what kind of buisness you run . The bb is only one of places Im reporting this buisness because With other people who got scammed just like me we all might just tell our stories . This is not a resolution to the hundreds of dollars paid on this car with in 14 days Of owning it thanks for getting me into a car payment at 19 for a car that doesnt even run .

To Whom It May **************************** We have already responded to this complaint. As stated before, we sell every vehicle AS IS, per federal AS IS agreement, see attached. Even thou we sell our vehicles AS IS, we always try
to help people, if they choose our help. We have tried helping this gentlemen even thou he signed an AS IS, but he chose a different direction. So we chose not to help and we stick with our
federal AS IS. Stop contacting us about this situation, as we have already tried to help. There is no help for this person.

I purchased a car from this company.It just recently caught fire with me in it. It blew up and burnt to the frame. Only thing left.This car I found out is on recall do to it catching fire .Car lot sold me a car that is on recall .I think this is wrong to do so I am reporting it to you. I am not sure on the laws about this.Felt it should be known.Business response

To Whom It May ********************* We are sad to hear that your vehicle caught on fire and burned to the ground. Hopefully no one was harmed. Per Carfax (see attached), this vehicle has never had a recall or anything. Also, used car dealers and private party individuals, are not responsible for open recalls. We also sold this vehicle to you, over a year ago. Again, we are sorry this happened but there is now way we are at fault.
