Massage Therapy 8/29/23 $85.00, billed my insurance for this visit, when I paid the full amount. I asked for a refund of $60.00 since my copay was $25 Massage Therapy 9/7/23 charged me $45 copay, I asked for $20 refund Massage Therapy 9/13/23 charged me $45 copay, I asked for $20 refund I received an Explanation of Benefits from ********* and they said that Russian Medical Massage, LLC should reimburse me $100 for overcharging me. When I called Russian Medical Massage, they told me they didn't care that they had overcharged me. I said I would appeal the claim and they said they didn't care. Russian Medical Massage has since stated that the provider I saw was not covered by ****** and in fact now I owed Russian Medical Massage an additional $80. Although when I first visited them, they indicated they were covered by ******. I only went to that business because I was told they take ****** insurance. They are now threating me with collections. BAIT AND SWITCH! THEY ARE FRAUDS!!Business response

Dear ******* ,
Thank you for bringing this matter to my attention. I further reviewed your file and discovered that several things were overlooked:
1. Your insurance was billed with wrong provider name.
2. You were charged incorrect amount on 9/07/23 and 9/13/23
You are correct that as a preferred provider for ****** Insurance I have to comply with their policy. However in order for me to do so I have to provide massage therapy treatments directly to you.
You had 3 treatments (8/29/23, 9/07/23, 9/13/23) provided to you by *********************************, LMT who is not preferred, or participating provider with ****** insurance. (you can call ************ to find out witch massage therapist is preferred/participating provider in your area).
The ******** to your insurance were made in error and it was corrected the same day we spoke over the phone with returned payments back to ******.
******** correctly charged you $85. for 8/29/23. The amounts charged on 9/07/23 & 9/13/23 were incorrect and should have been $85. each.
The balance on your account is $80., a bill has been included.
I attached a copy of our financial policy that you agreed with by signing it.
I also included an addressed envelope for your convenience to use to send a payment in the amount of $80.00.
