      My husband and I took my 70 year old mother's truck to this shop after it was slipping in between 2nd and 3rd gears. My husband asked for quotes for both a rebuilt transmission and a remanufactured transmission. After reviewing both pricing options with my mother, we ultimately decided on going for the cheaper options (rebuilt) as it is not her primary vehicle and is not driven more than a few times a year. My husband communicated this to ******************* who indicated he understood. Fast forward to a couple of weeks later and we get a call from ***** that the bill is **** more than we had previously agreed to. He put in a remanufactured transmission instead of the rebuilt transmission. ***** admitted he misunderstood but was adamant that my husband agreed to the higher charge. My husband thought he was agreeing to charges for a rebuilt transmission, and corrected ***** when he said remanufactured, but nevertheless, a remanufactured was installed. ***** told my husband that without paying the price for the remanufactured, we could not get the car back, so my mother paid the higher fee. After having the work done, we were informed that we would need to return in 10 days/150 miles to check on everything to stay in compliance with the warranty. My husband brought the car back and we were turned away because they were too busy. They told us to come back some other time and that that would not impact the validity of the warranty. Now they are not covering repairs to a servo ring under warranty. ***** would not cover the repair and offered to pay half instead and if not, then to come and pick up the undrivable vehicle. Still never found out how much that repair would cost. He stated all conversations and in person interactions were recorded (without our knowledge) and when we requested this and anything my husband had signed, he refused to give it to me until after I brought up that he legally has to provide us with anything we signed. Terrible experience.

      Their website says they are BBB accredited, but they are not. That is just the beginning of their lies. I was quoted one price for a transmission rebuild, detailed and complete after providing information on my vehicle. After I was told they would be ordering parts, they avoided my calls (I know from my time in the shop previously that ****** has caller ID and can ignore certain calls she does not want to deal with as I watched her do this the day I was in her shop). I called one last time and she finally answered only to put me on hold right away. I told her I would hold. She left me on hold for 40 minutes before she finally returned to the line. She then proceeded to tell me that she spoke to her mechanic and was told that a remanufactured transmission would be cheaper for me than the rebuild. I was then quoted a much higher price, required to leave my car with them for a much longer period of time than initially promised and the loaner I was promised was no longer working/available. She became rude, aggressive and completely lied about the information she had originally given me. She admitted she obtained a quote for the wrong vehicle/parts and was completely unwilling to honor her original quote. I have never experienced such blatant false advertising and unethical behavior. I was not provided with a copy of the signed quote/estimate (I did in fact sign the estimate and the shop should have a signed copy) nor was I provided with a receipt for the $240 charge I paid to have my transmission fluids refilled so I could take my vehicle home.

      I was promised a used transmission with a 6 month warranty for a specific price. They called me and told me the used transmission was broken and they couldnt finish fixing it and that my warranty was out the window. I was told that it was up to me to either pay almost double the amount for a new transmission or pay for labor fees and get my car back the same way I sent it in which would still cost half of my original price I was promised. They are scamming me as my original agreement is being altered to fit best for them and not me the customer. They are going against our original agreement because they cant figure out how to complete their end of the bargain without charging me more or s******* me with charging me labor fees when nothing was done but them tearing my car apart. When I addressed the issue and spoke on our original agreement with frustration I was laughed at and the subject was changed to an issue i did not take my car in for to try and catch me off guard and ignore the original problem. If I would have took my car to Buckys or similar I would have not had this problem and my car would be fixed without me having to be the one to figure it out except for our original agreement. I went thru a loan they referred me to and they already starting charging me for it but my car is not completed.
