I'm about to *** this company but I wanted to raise this issue in one more forum before I do.On June 9 Vantage sent me an enforcement notice for painting the trim on my house. I resolved the issue with the trim despite their vague complaints. The tenants living in the house volunteered to paint the trim. I paid them $600 to do so.I notified Vantage that the issue was resolved and they said they needed a "PIC" (property improvement committee) application to close the matter. I told them that the CC&Rs specifically say that PIC approval is not required to paint the house the approved color scheme, IE, repainting/cleaning. They insisted on getting a PIC. I told them I wouldn't submit it because it was already done and the CC&Rs specifically said I didn't have to. They are threatening to fine me if I don't submit a PIC application.I'm attaching the CC&Rs. The relevant passage is Article 4, section 4.1, paragraph 2.I'm taking them to court if I receive a fine.Customer response

The issue at hand is that Vantage is threatening to fine me. I want them to stop threatening to fine me. Also, I'd like confirmation that the issue is actually closed from their side. Vantage typically does not communicate that an issue is closed unless they want me to stop emailing them about it. I want acknowledgement that the issue regarding my trim is closed.
