First surgery could not take place due to skyrocketing blood pressure. The incident was handled poorly by staff. They wheeled me into the hallway with high blood pressure & passed me to my daughter. She ask to speak to the Doc several times but was denied I called the office so many times to speak about the **************** but was given a run around. Finally I was told *** would speak to me. She works for Sonobello in Sales but said she was the patient advocate.She listened & took all the info & get back to me but didnt I explained to her I was afraid to have the second procedure. *** didnt call back. Was given excuses why she couldnt talk to me. I expressed how afraid I was. I said I would have surgery & then they replied. I cant afford to just give them $15,300 for nothing. They assured me everything would be ok. But this time it was worse. I was in the office for seven hours and most of that time in the operating room. At first they were going to release me in the hallway again but the paramedics were called & I was taken to *************** due to blood pressure being so dangerously high.Jewish Hospital Doctor taking care of me said that Sonobello needs to get their s*** together. Only less than ofsurgery was performed, lower back. I received a very small partial part of the surgery & with blood pressure levels they were risking my life.Im trying to get my money back. I have been speaking with ***** the office Manager at the ********** office. I have been offered less than half of my money back even though surgery should have never been started with my blood pressure dangerously high once again. .A small portion was completed &in reality they risk my life to do that. The Doctor cancelled further surgeries which I would not let them touch me again Doctors should know that a patient with Diabetes and Thyroid disease should not be given Epedrine which is a medication give to patients to raise their blood pressure. I have never ever contacted this company ever. I am not interested in their product or services yet every day i receive dozens of emails under their company name advertising/phishing. I have requested multiple times that my email be removed only to be emailed again. I want them to stop spamming me and leave me aloneBusiness response

I had a procedure done in October of 2023 with Sono Bello Norfolk, I am not pleased with my result, my belly button is still oozing, my scar is too high, my abdomen looks uneven and lumpy, I still get swollen and hard in my abdomen. For cosmetic procedure I would expect that my suture line would have been neatly done but it was not. Proper education was not provided for post surgery, especially for me as a woman of color that is prone to keloid. I had keloid by the second week and was only told about scar tape that prevented keloid in the areas that had delayed healing after I started using it. I was placed on a satisfactory list from February, and no one called me for months to schedule an appointment. When I called them they scheduled an appointment to see them when I went there and voiced my concerns, I was placed on the satisfactory list again and since then I kept calling to talk to ****** at the Norfolk office only to hear that she is busy and will call me back, however she never does. I spoke to them today and its the same problem, hence I need my money back to go elsewhere to correct, their failure as I am uncomfortable and do not like the results even though I paid more than what a tummy tuck would have cost and have no confidence to wear a bikini to the beach or to be intimate as I am so embarrassed of how I lookBusiness response

on 8/15, we had an initial consultation with Sono Belo in **********, ** for a proceedure to be done on my son. They said he qualified for the proceedure. I paid 2500 down payment and filled out paperwork for a loan for the balance. On 8/21, we went for a pre op, and the surgeon said my son did not qualify for the proceedure, and we will be reunded. on monday, 8/26 I received a credit card from CareOne credit. I called ******* credit asking what this was, and they told me it came from ********* and there was a balance of ******* on it. I immediately disputed the carge, since my son did not undergo the proceedure. I did not know the "loan" I applied for would be for a credit card that charges *****% interest!Business response

On July 14, 2023, I had an initial consultation with ***********************. I was assured that the Sono Trisculpt would get the results that I wanted...more definition in my waste. So I paid for lipo of the upper & lower abdomen, flanks, hips, bra line, and lower back. My surgery took place on Aug 7, 2023 with *** A. All in all, it went ok. It was over much faster than I expected. I looked at the container of fat that was removed and it didn't look like very much, but what do I know. I went home and recovered. In my first Post Op, I mentioned that it didn't really look like anything changed. I was told, it's only been a week, let the swelling subside then I'll see the results. OK..I'm hopeful.Fast forward to my 3 month post-op appt. My feedback was the same, "For the amount of money I paid, the results are not what was promised". I was told to wait until my 6-month appt. Fine. We're now at 6 months post-op, I tell the nurse that I'm not happy with the results. The thing that I came in for, a more defined waist, I don't have. AND I'm lopsided. My right side is bigger than my left, The nurse agreed and said she would schedule me to see the MD for a revision. *ut wait...*** A., no longer works there. I was told that *** * would be my revision doctor. Ok, fine. Appt scheduled for March.Fast forward a couple of weeks, *** * no longer works there, but "As soon as a new doctor is identified, I will be scheduled for my revision". It is now over a year since my surgery, 6 months past my 6 month appt and I've heard nothing. I've called multiple times and get the same response, "Your name is on the list to be contacted". At this point, aren't isn't this *reach of Contract? I don't trust this company and I want my money back OR HONOR THE CONTRACT! I followed every instruction so the fault is not mine. It's yours. I had laser lipo done on April 1st, 2024. After a couple weeks I had a couple complications and concerns so I requested my medical chart to review the surgical notes. Upon review, I saw that the procedure I paid for, was not performed according to my consent. The laser was not used, nor was I informed before, during, or after my procedure that day. After notifying the practice manager, she apologized that the laser fibers weren't available that day. My right to informed consent was taken from me and the only way I found out was by reading my medical records. Had I not requested, and read my chart, sono bello never would have told me and just hoped I never found out. It is extremely unethical to not have told me that morning that the laser wasn't available, even though that was what i paod for. Had I been notified, I would have canceled or postponed my procedure until it was available. Yet I was not given that chance. Given this lack of transparency, I can not trust Sono Bello to be honest as they already got caught ripping me off. Speaking with their practice manager resulted in no viable solutions and am now starting the process of litigation.Business response

Jan 2024, Sono Bello Charleston went in for consultation,*****(sales *** not a ************* over options, determined my BMI, and physically pulled my abdomen tight to show me what I would look like with the procedure. She showed me many pictures of women with my body type,shape,BMI,age to assure me this was possible, and I was worth spending this kind of money on. We went over the cost, beginning @$15,000(declined) she asked why I didnt feel like I was worth it and reduced the cost to $10,000 (spot fill discount)and got a preapproval on a credit card, scheduled my pre-op and surgery(I felt like a used car in hind site)Paid cash in full morning of pre-op even though she opened the credit card,now an open line of credit not needed. Forward to surgery, let me assure you this is not a painless surgery, it is horrendous and traumatic, the staff and all ads claim it is a simple in and out with little to no downtime. This is a blatant lie!! I had no complications during procedure luckily but I felt everything. I was terrified and in complete panic,(nurse handed me a squeeze ball)! My husband sat in the office alone after 5pm till 7:30 before someone came to let him know anything. I was put in the car for the 2 hour drive home at 8pm. 1wk post I could barely stand to walk,they gave me a support binder, 1 month post op was better, still a lot of swelling, 3mo post concerned about some disfigurement asked to see *** told he would not see me until at least 6mo, I should do Venus, drove 2hrs 1way for 8wks/treatment, today was 6mo post, I expressed my concerns again with abdomal shape, questioned causes and revisions, was told I would get a call to discuss. My nurse,*******,has been my advocate, is no longer there,my nurse today,Essence, said there are no notes documenting the extensive complaints, concerns, discussions, consultations, or resolution options. In no way do I remotely look like any of the result pictures, and my concerns are seemingly disregarded as valid.Business response

We saw ****************' in our center on August 12, 2024, for her six month post-operative follow up. During this appointment she informed us that she was not happy with her results. We reminded her of that her surgeon wanted to reevaluate her results at her one year marks as she is still healing. **************** achieved considerable results based on her original state and this is reflected on her progress pictures documenting her transformation.
Our center also followed up with her after receiving this complaint and spoke to her about to her regarding her options and that if she wanted she could go to any of our other centers for a second opinion. We ask that if she has any further questions or concerns that she please contact our center.

Sept 2022 I went in to have a procedure done that included my upper and lower abs, waist, back bra, upper back, chin and abex done by Dr. ***** Prior to surgery and after reading several larger BMI patients I asked if he thought I should have the procedures done in two sessions and he said no we should be fine. While the procedure wasn't the worst the after care was not great. My procedure was done on a Friday and I was given a number to call with any problems and also assured that they would check on me and that never happened. Healing was hard and an infection happened yet I had to go to my PC to get antibiotics. It took almost 3 months for my belly button to stop draining and after my 1 month po there was not much change. So at my 6 mo appointment I spoke with Dr **** and was given much attitude but he ok'd a revision of the abdomen only. I requested another surgeon and had my revision with ***************. He explained it would be aggressive due to the scarred tissue. But now due to the amount removed there is a fold in my stomach. I spoke with the office manager and she didn't think I had the skin removed in which I did. Fast forward to 6 months po 4/4/24 from revision a develop a lump at the new belly button. Went to the ** and had a abscess/seroma and told to follow up with surgeon. I went in the next day and 4 weeks in a row driving a hour each way for them to take a pic and tell me that this had nothing to do with the surgery. No antibiotic or imaging ordered to see what was going on. At the 4th appointment I demanded to see a manager. A week later I go see ***************** who while swabbing entered my abdomen due to the breakdown of my skin and infection. I am now on my 5th round of antibiotic under wound care and now have a referral through wound care to see a surgeon. Sonobello do not care of about their patients as they should and all this aftercare should be on them not my insurance and me.Business response

I underwent Abex and liposuction surgery in December 2023 in the ***************, ** location. I am thoroughly dissatisfied with the results.My original surgeon quit, and I would not be surprised if it were because he feared I would sue him. My ABEX procedure is botched, and my liposuction looks like it was performed by an inexperienced student practicing, making the overall outcome a horror story!1) Specifically, I am requesting a complete refund for the ***** which is fair given the unsatisfactory results. I am not pursuing legal action at this time.2) Additionally, I require correction of the uneven back liposuction. One side has minimal treatment, while the other side is uneven.3) Regarding the bra rolls, I paid for the liposuction but did not receive it.I insist on this being addressed. No more excuses; I want it addressed. I paid for this a considerable time ago.4) Arms ... Horrible! Only an unevenly shaped area inside my arms was treated, leaving a strange and unbalanced appearance. I did not pay for partial liposuction, and the result is unacceptable. It is preventing me from wearing short sleeves. It is essential to address this professionally. 5) Furthermore, there is an area in the middle of my upper abdomen that was barely addressed. It protrudes, giving my body an odd appearance. I require this to be correctly treated to achieve a flat and balanced appearance.6) My waist was partially treated and needs further attention.My schedule is available for the revision surgery on the following dates: September 12th, 2024 - September 22nd, 2024 I am willing to undergo surgery again, but only with Sono Bello's best *******, experienced, and proven surgeon to address and resolve this issue with botched areas as is already mentioned and requested.Business response

In the voicemail, **************** said that she was responding to the complaint filed to BBB and requested and asked that I call her back, even though I requested that communication be by email or mail.
I called the number provider and received information that **************** is not available at the moment.
I asked for ******************** email, but the person who responded to my phone call refused.
I was very surprised that providing an email was an issue.
It was said that **************** would call me back.
I did not receive a phone call back from ****************, and she did not email me.

Sono Bello of Ft. Lauderdale, FL mis lead me. I had a procedure back in March on 2024, submitted a negative review to which now they want me to fly back into town and pay another fee for another consultation and another procedure. It was a scam and Ill stand by that til the day I die. They took advantage of me, played me and robbed me. I expressed my concerns during my 2 follow up appointments which were ignored. If I was the actual perfect candidate i should have had actual results. I lost almost 30 pounds on my own prior to surgery and I wish I never met ******, Dr. * and her team. They full on took advantage of my desperation, feeling loss of self worth and preyed on me once they knew i had the money.Business response
