Evergreen Health is one of the worst companies at customer service I have ever worked with. I have paid THOUSANDS in medical bill to Evergreen and somehow even though the invoices I got showed fully paid they sent me to collections for amounts showing owed in their system. They sent me to collections once a few months back and when I called they explained they had emailed the invoices which were not received on my end. They acknowledged that I had never received those invoices and pulled back the amount sent to collections. I paid the amount and thought we were good.Three months later THEY SENT ME TO COLLECTIONS AGAIN!!!!Apparently there was other amounts due on the same account WHICH THEY NEVER MENTIONED and they knew I had not gotten the invoices!I called back asking for them to pull back from collections so could pay, they said they would not and asked to speak with a supervisor. When the supervisor called back she refused any responsibility and said I had agreed to receive my invoices electronically which I did not. I had called them back specifically because I had asked for hard copies to be sent and they never sent those. When I called back they told me that I was paid up, what they meant apparently was that the first invoice had been paid.At the end of the day they accepted the first situation was their fault which is why it got pulled back, the second instance should have been the same situation and shouldn't have been a big deal. If I thought it was worth it I would *** them myself but for now I am going to ask around to some lawyers and try to get a class action lawsuit going because I guarantee they are doing this to others beyond myself.Hopefully I can make them pay 100 fold what I owed in defense costs alone.Business response

This is in response to ID ********. We have contacted the patient and resolved this issue. Electronic statements were sent to the patient, however he said he did not receive them. The balance was recalled from collections, the patient has now paid and is satisfied with the results.

Hi there,I am a pregnant woman and I didn't feel good on July 15th, I called my pregnancy treatment provider for consulting the issue, and the on-call doctor let me go to the hospital for an examination. I did and it's a normal examination to track the baby's condition (heartbeat). I was told to stay 24 hours when I was in the hospital, however, I didn't expect that, and I confirmed with the doctor and nurse if I could leave earlier. It was approved and I left after staying for about 1.5 hours. Then, I received a **** mentioning I was for emergency care, and a very high ****. I don't think it's an emergency care issue, since I was just in the room for regular checking, and the doctor just comes for about 5 mins. (I had a similar unexpected checking during my first pregnancy and the charge is very low) Also, if I knew it will be emergency care I won't go. I think the charge is too high for this treatment. I look for a new statement for the **** to pay. Thanks.Business response

The patient presented to theObstetrics ******************** as it was after hours for the physicians officeand after consulting with the physician on-call. This was determined tobe the safest for both mother and baby due to the circumstances post-auto accident. After review from the ***************** of EvergreenHealth, it has beendetermined that the coding level and charges are accurate based on themonitoring, labs and duration that care was received.
The balance due is after insurancewas billed, processed and what the insurance left to her deductible. ******** can reference herstatement for payment contact information.
