Ticor Title was the title company for the sale of our home in *******, **. We closed on Thursday (Nov 30) and have still not been wired funds or sent a check for the sale of our home. We are being promised yet again for a wire tomorrow (Tues, Dec 5). These people are incompetent and untrustworthy. They couldn't even get the house address correct.Business response

Good Evening,
We're very sorry for the delay and hope for your understanding.
Unfortunately, we were under a cyber-attack and our systems were locked down to secure all of our client monies. Fortunately, our swift actions prevented any breach and protected private information and monies. The attack did cause delays in closings for which I apologize. Fortunately, I do see that a cashier's check was issued today. Please let me know if there is anything further, I can do to help.

I recently discovered a check issued to me by Ticor Title dated May 24, 2017 for the amount of $174.00. The check was expired so I contacted Ticor to have it reissued. I was told that the funds had been transferred to Washington ********** of ******* (WA-DOR) unclaimed property department (UCP). UCP informed me that they had no record of those funds. Multiple phone calls and emails to Ticor from myself and UCP have left the issue unresolved. I have attempted further calls in the past 14 days and left voicemails which have gone unanswered.Business response

Good afternoon,
We are required after three years to escheat funds to the state, funds were sent to our dormant funds department back in February 2021 so they could be escheated. We contacted our dormant funds deparement after ************ contacted us they were able to pull back the funds and deposit them back into the file I mailed out a check to ************ March 21, 2022.

Regarding complaint # ********. I had not responded previously regarding this complaint as I had not yet received the check. The check arrived today (3/29/2022) and I wish to note this complaint as resolved to my satisfaction.
