Date of stay Feb 8 - 9 . Room had Rodents making noise in walls behind tv and shower area throughout the night. Molding missing along floor wall where ants were coming out of the area onto the floor next to the refrigerator. Silverfish bugs were present. Room had yellow stains on sheets possibly from Silverfish bugs as well as one that looked like blood.Damage to areas that we did not notice initially (upon a quick look at the room before reserving it) which made us wonder if it is up to code. We contacted ***** County and they advised us to fill out a complaint form with them & the ************* The office is closed during the night so instead of a late checkout as originally asked for, we went to check out promptly at 9 am & the owner asked how the stay was. We started telling him about the issues & in the middle of me talking, he took a call on his cell phone. We waited and when he was done he appeared to be messaging on his phone immediately. I continued telling him what had gone on and what we found in the room (ALL the details above). He continued texting on his phone the ENTIRE time. When I was done talking, he said (WHILE STILL LOOKING DOWN AT HIS PHONE) "Ok looks like we still have some things to take care of." We stood there for a couple minutes, he never looked up, he never said another word. He clearly had no time for us. We left & I emailed asking for a full refund which seems very reasonable. I would have been mortified if a guest came to me and described their room as we had & would have insisted they accept a refund. The owners have replied and described us as having eaten the meal & then asked for a refund. I hardly consider this that type of a situation. The room was unacceptable for industry standards & should be in their eyes as well. We checked out as soon as they opened rather than stay until noon as we had expressed wanting to do when we checked in the night before. I would like a full refund.
