A friend recommended this company to me for contacts. I did order contacts from them once. I received the shipment and that was it. Then I got an email saying that I was on auto ship, which I did not as for. I called them and told them when I needed contacts, I would conttact them. Now, a few years later, I am getting an email on an autoship which again, I did not request. How can I get this company to leave me alone?

These jokers advertise the lowest price of any of the online retailers, then the "processing fee" is sometimes MORE than the cost of the actual box of contacts. Terrible and dishonest marketing strategy. I will pay more for my contacts at another site just to not give my business to a joke of a company like this

Ditto! Price gouging on Insurance and processing. A bunch of con artists!

Do not buy! They advertisemen contact lenses online for ***** a box. I put 2 boxes in my basket, total $75. When I go to check out, AFTER I enter my payment method and AFTER they added shipping, at the page where you finalize the payment, there suddenly appeared an ' insurance and handling' fee of $38!!!, HALF the price of my contacts!! Totally misleading the consumer, playing the consumer for a fool. Do not buy!

Same as ********** Here. You get to the point where youre tired of looking for contacts online. Find a good price with opticontacts.com. Check out, get the email that they added $188 for processing fees? Ended up paying more than retail for my contacts? This is just a scam here at opticontacts.com. I will be contacting manufacturer to complain. I am sure its pointless to call these con artists.

I agree with previous review that this company is total bait and switch. They show very attractive pricing. However when you add to cart to check out, they tag on "insurance and processing" fee of $210, almost doubling the initial list price of the lenses! Total BS. Consumers beware.

I was originally quoted a price of $39 dollars per box for dailies total 1 contacts, with free shipping and I planned to buy four boxes. Then all of a sudden, the price jumped to $317.92, with about $150 for "insurance and processing." I spoke to a service rep in the chat, who said: In regards to the listed processing fees, these cover all the additional expenses not related to the product or shipping. The processing fee takes into account things such as product storage costs, packaging costs (including the shipping materials) and other overheads such as the time cost associated with prepping and packing the products. Contact lenses are complex, as there can be thousands of Rx combination per product. We split these costs out into separate lines, rather than lumping it all under the product price. The insurance included in the price covers the replacement of your order in case the package is lost or stolen.It is true that some stores including ourselves charge a processing fee and that prices will vary depending on the advertisement that you viewed.In ****** it's typical for sellers to have a product price and a separate processing fee. We do advise of the processing fee in our terms and conditions. Whether we have a high box price and no handling or a low box price and high processing, this should not matter as long as our total price is the best. We apologize for the confusion but this is how the pricing structure works on ****** ads.I told them it was bait and switch and I wasn't buying from them.
