On November 16, 2017, BBB recognized a pattern of complaints from consumers regarding delivery, product, refund and customer service issues. Consumers allege products they purchase from BattDepot are received later than the scheduled delivery time, and the products are defective. Consumers also allege the company requires them to ship the defective products back at their own expense; and when the company sends a replacement product, consumers claim it, too, is defective and must be returned at their own expense. Consumers allege BattDepot fails to honor its refund policy and either delays issuing a refund, does not issue a refund at all or issues only a partial refund. Consumers further allege the company is unresponsive to requests for assistance.
As of today, BattDepot has not eliminated the underlying cause(s) of its pattern of complaints.
