I called them for a VERY specific kind of life insurance. I told the salesman EXACTLY what I was looking for. We ran through the questions and he told me what policy he recommended. I asked if it was the type of policy I was looking for. He stated "No, but it's what you qualify for." Dude! That's not the question! What are you trying to sell me something I don't want? You knew in the beginning of the call what I was there for but you don't care about my needs, only your pockets and commissions. THIS is why people don't trust salesmen, right here! This is unethical sales! Do better!eFinancial Response

The number of calls received from this company after attempting to get an online life insurance quote from Progressive can't be described as anything other than harassment. I was only pricing out various options and after pricing online with them I received 18 separate calls. After I told them I purchased from a different company and blocked two of the numbers, I received an additional 10 calls from yet another number. It is harassment and I would never do business with a company that operates this way. The most any other company called me was 3 times.Review from Tracey M.

I have received several calls a day for the past several months , no voice message left . When I answer they are trying to sell me life insurance they say I requested.. I did not .. I just want them to stop .Review from Puteen S.

It was very easy to get info on my life insurance policy. They also allow me to pay my yearly premiums with the dividends that accrue - very helpful when on a limited income. Then when my mother died, they processed the life insurance check within 7 days which was very much appreciated.eFinancial Response

You are unable to get ahold of the actual agent that helped set up your policy for Life Insurance. I need to update my policy for myself and son because I moved and lost my debit card . And , the insurance company told me I can not update my son policy because he's the policy owner due to the agent setting it up as my son being the policy owner. How is this when I'm the one that set up the policies for us both and payments come out of my account. So, now I risk the chance of the policy lapsing due to non payment since I can not update my son policy. I am very upset that it is this hard to get help from this company. ALL I WANTED WAS TO HAVE COVERAGE FOR MYSELF AND SON SINCE IM A SINGLE MOTHER AND TO MAKE SURE WE BOTH WE'RE COVERED.eFinancial Response

Receive calls 3 to 4 times a day with no message and no one on line when I answered.When I called back agent refused to speak to me even with my husband's permission as he cannot understand over phone do to hearing loss asked at that time to be removed from call list but continue to get calls When I called back again to remove my number 2 people hung up on me last one said she was going to put me on no call list but not hopeful.Called main office but she could not see any file for my husband to flag but said she was going to put me on their do not call list we'll see what happens. If I get more calls this review will go to a complaint and I am keeping my call logs.eFinancial Response

I received a text message where someone else had signed up for a life insurance quote but under my cell number (I'm not, nor do I know anyone named ******** I immediately replied stop and immediately received the unsubscribed message. That didn't stop them from selling my cell number to any and everyone! Since then I've gotten no less than 15 calls and texts per day. All of the calls showing as suspected spam. I'm on the government do not call list but this doesn't stop these ppl. I didn't sign up for this and me immediately unsubscribing to them meant nothing bc they sold my number anyway. Btw... I received another spam call while typing this! I'm call the gov report line next. It is beyond me how this company is even accredited!Btw, I'm filing this under scam bc my info was sold to tons of ppl. Many who have hung up on me and been very rude in the beginning when I tried to explain that I didn't sign up for it. Hinky people with bad practices equal scam to me. Not to mention the fact that efinanial made money off the sale of my info without my signing up for anything, anywhere!eFinancial Response
