Solid 22K 5lb gold brilliant uncirculated coin. ********* took the coin out of packaging and out of my site twice. he claimed he was seeing if it was real. Needless to say when I got coin back it was no longer mint condition and out of its' package with a smudge on the coin and the shine was completely gone. the coin is worth 3500-4000. he offered 900 for the fake coin, then withdrew that offer. I left with a coin that I believe is not the same coin. He took advantage of a widow who's just trying to pay the bills. He also asked if I was willing to leave the coin with him for 3-4 weeks to finish the acid test, this I did not understand I filed a police report and now I will take him to small claims courtInitial Complaint

I used Bainbridge Diamonds and Jewelry to help repair a watch that I had inherited from my late grandfather after his passing 10 months ago. After several months of going back and forth, Frank has lost, misplaced, or sold the watch and intends to do nothing about it. During the duration of April through November, while Frank had my watch in his possession and was sending it to various "other watchmakers" to get it repaired, I never once got a single call from him. I had to go into the business every month or so to check on the status of it, and it always was not working and he needed to "send it to someone else". When I finally became fed up with this, and went in to retrieve my watch whether it was repaired or not, it was nowhere to be found. Instead, Frank gave me a watch face that was not mine, claiming that it was "the only watch" that the "master watchmaker" whom he had sent mine out to had, and charged me $89 for it. After taking a few days to calm down, I went back to Frank and demanded a refund of this charge. He obliged, which begs the question, why did he then charge me that much money for this fake watch in the first place. He claims that this watch face that is not mine, is the only one that the "master watchmaker" had. I would like to know how is this possible? If he sent out my grandfathers watch to this "master watchmaker", then how did I get this fake one in return? Frank refuses not only to let me have the contact information of the "master watchmaker" that he apparently sent my watch to, but he refuses to even call the "master watchmaker" while I am in his store. From talking to other people in the community, this is not the first time that something like this has happened with Frank and I would like something to be done not only so that I get some closure on this extremely sentimental item that has gone missing, but also so that this does not happen to others.
