Meineke Car Care Center on Holland Rd. It all started when I called Meineke on Holland Rd to inquire about replacing a Master Cylinder. I was instructed to bring my car in, so I had it towed to the location. Upon arrival, I explained to the staff that they had already attempted to bleed the clutch, resulting in fluid below. They agreed to look at it and later informed me that they believed it was the Slave cylinder, not the Master Cylinder, causing the leak. After some back and forth, they replace the Slave cylinder for approximately $***, as they were confident that was the issue. However, a few hours later, I received a call stating that it was actually the Master Cylinder that needed to be replaced, and the cost would now be around $****. Frustrated by the inconsistency, I requested a manager to call me and provided them with the last 4 digits of my SSN to order the part. Unfortunately, I did not receive a call from the manager as promised.On Saturday, I received a call saying my car was ready for pickup, but still no call from the manager. When I inquired about speaking to the store manager, I was informed that the current manager was just an acting one and that I should wait until Monday to speak to the store manager. However, I had to initiate the call on Monday as well. The manager seemed unhelpful and demanded a yes or no answer regarding my SSN, claiming that we had agreed to the price. Frustrated by the lack of assistance, I requested to speak to someone higher up, but the manager suggested I contact corporate.After reaching out to corporate, I received a call from a supervisor who promised to contact the owner of the location. Unfortunately, I never received that call. Now, my car is ready for pickup, but I am still waiting for the owner to contact me before I can retrieve it. I also recieved a call this morning stating that if I did not pick up the car that I would be charged $**/day to storage. But here I am waiting for an owner to call me for two days.
