Hi American of Virginia, This is an overdue THANK YOU for the exceptional job the American of Virginia/Atlas staff and workers did for us when you moved us from the east to the midwest recently. I wanted to let you know everything went without a hitch or problem as far as we know. I'm not sure what it looked like on your side, but on our side, it was a textbook relocation and you and your people get all the credit. We appreciate Raymond for his estimating visits, patience with us, and sage advice; Dawn for her email clarifications and help understanding the paperwork; David for his masterful prep, packing, driving, and unloading, his careful management of the moving process and his loaders/unloaders, his amazing knowledge of the industry and best practices to care for our belongings, his extreme patience, and his physical strength to do work that was unimaginable to me. (In my estimation, he was one of the most amazing, knowledgeable, courteous, friendly fellows I've ever dealt with. Please extend my thanks to him, again); and Sydney who was strong, efficient, careful, and just a wonder to us. She kept us straight and won my wife's and my confidence every time we asked a question or interacted. She was a delight to talk to and a very interesting collection of skills, knowledge, and experiences. We are not so young anymore, so, even after two months, we are still unpacking and getting settled in. The boxes are dwindling, but everytime I open one, I'm amazed at the care David, Sydney, and the others took to get us here. We are truly grateful. Please thank the whole team and reward them as you are able. Happy New Year!

Did a simplicity move from Utah to Virginia. America of Virginia did the delivery. Was impressed The delivery guys went above and beyond and took great care around tight corners. We unpacked boxes while they brought everything in and put furniture back together. As a result, they were able to take all packing and boxes with them. A great benefit with the apartment's overflowing recycle bins (graduate school mass move-ins). Everything went as scheduled. Nice, polite workers. We picked a Simplicity move 1. they gave definitive pack and delivery dates where most small moves got windows of several days for delivery 2. They did a full service move - and no question their packing was far beyond anything we would have done. 3. The cost was very competitive. 4. Included full value insurance.
