On march 4th I "bought" a car from this dealership and was told I was approved for finance. I paid my down payment in two payments. I got a call every other day or so requesting documents for the bank. First thing they wanted was another paystub. Then a few days later they wanted another bank statement proving my employment direct deposit even though they already called my employer and verified my employment. Fast forward to march 3 almost one month to the day. I have no bank funding, no plates ordered from dmv, an expired temp tag so now I can't drive the car. I complained to the F&I manager who assured me my bank deal was fine and they would call with more issues if they arose. Finally spoke with the sales manager. She was helpful but did not have an answer. I have now put down a full 2500 down payment. And no bank deal. The sales guy called me from his private cell phone threatening to fight me and do a drive by on my house if he lost his job over this. At this point I either want financing for my vehicle or a full refund of down payment and the car returned. At this time I have been issued an apology and employee suspension.Business response

Judging by the pompous response of this manager. How can someone else tell me I'm satisfied. I don't understand how an employee can threaten the the life of a customer and still be employed . Please be aware this company is being investigated by the motor vehicle dealer board for the state of Virginia. So no sir I am most certainly not satisfied. Again Family Motors refuses to tell me why they still employ a person who commits crimes against their customers . I am no longer perusing this complaint. I will just contact an attorney. I wish I would have pressed charges instead of letting the manager talk me out of it. They think a little hush money will make me quiet but I assure you I'm not done. Lawyer and Channel 10 news will handle this from here going further.
