Purchased a vehicle from Stafford Motors now named Zaza Motors in Dec 2023. Noticed issues with vehicle and tried to call to return the car and they continuously stated theyd get back to me. I leave voicemails and calls and I get no answer, I had to start calling through a different number because it seems like they were trying to avoid me. All I want is this car to be out of my possession and my deposit back.Customer response

I purchased a ****** Corolla 2014, on the 14th May of 2022 from ********* (Stafford Motors LLC) for a fully paid amount of $14,000. The vehicle was purchased with 5 days return possibility. The condition for return as stated by seller: "could be as small as I (the buyer) not liking the color". However, the vehicle appeared to have a major problem with the transmission. I gave **************** from ********* notice about the issue on the 5th day and returned the vehicle on the earliest possible date for them. However, when I asked for a full refund on the fifth day of return, they asked for a number of hidden costs, that they never told me about. When I calculated, the return would cost me around $2,000. Further, in the notice regarding the problem, I asked for extension of the return period, they denied to do so. Having no other option, I accepted their offer: that ********* will solve the problem foundationally. I waited for many days. They lied three times that the car is fixed and tested and I should come and pick it up. I went over but the car was not fixed. In the third time, I agreed to wait for more days only because they told me that they will have it serviced by ******. But, they denied to provide any documents about the car being serviced by ****** until 1st of June. On this date, I sent a request for full refund. After my email they actually took the vehicle to ******. Since purchase of the vehicle, I only used the car for one day. Therefore, it has been 17 days that I have not been able to use the car. I waited 14 days for the issue to be fixed. I am a refugee from ***********. I used the car to do Doordash and Lyft to make money. I have not made any money and suffered financially. I went through their profiles online, apparently, I am not the first victim of their fraud. There are many more. They are scammers, who are hiding through veils. I asked to meet *********************************, the owner - who is the direct decision maker, he denied to meet.
