they charge a shipping fee when you order and if item needs returning(which customer has to pay) your original shipping feed is subtracted from your refund and they keep that, too. Says no restocking but they still keep your money. You pay to have item shipped and then pay to ship back but they subtract your original shipping fee from return and keep that, too. I complained and was told that was their policy and when I said I would contact you they refunded my original shipping fee.

Our shipping policy indicates that we do not refund the shipping paid by a customer when an order is returned. We do not profit by retaining shipping charges, as the shipping charges we collect are used to pay FedEx to ship the order to the customer. That policy was followed in this case. The customer was dissatisfied with this, and emailed us threatening to leave a bad review. We ship thousands of orders each year, and every great once in a while we deal with an issue such as this. In this case we refunded the customer the original shipping charge of $7.95. The customer still elected to leave a bad review.Customer Response

I shipped product back for $10.25 and they state they are only collecting to make up for the original shipping which means it would have cost them $15.90 to send the product in the first place. ???????Review from Rauss C

The team at Drapery Rods Direct is invaluable as a trade professional. They have helped me through two high-budget situations this year, and did everything up to filing warranty claims and rushing items through Covid delays to make sure our project was taken care of. I have no affiliation with this company other than working with their customer service team to get my clients the best products possible AND at the best price I have found over the past year. Cari, Donna, and the other representatives are extremely knowledgeable, communicate with one another, and work to resolve issues in the quickest and best way possible. If you are thinking of ordering from Drapery Rods Direct, know that you are going to be in the best hands possible, and if something happens with your order as does on a daily basis in this industry, know that this team is doing everything they can to resolve the problem in a timely manner. Cannot say enough good things, they are my favorite customer service team to deal with from ANY of my vendors. I only wish that I could leave this review in a more public place for people to see.
