I bought a car from Epovo for cash.. They have not followed through on registering the vehicle in my name, providing the plates I paid for, or send info to DMV to get me the title. They put me off and wont answer when I call.Initial Complaint

Entered the relationship, I was looking forward to a pleasant car buying experience with Epovo Auto Group LLC. We purchased a 2015 ** ****** on 17 March 2022. Enroute to our home, the vehicle's "check engine light" illuminated. Immediately phoned Epovo Auto and spoke with Remi about the light, who acknowledged and requested we return the vehicle to determine the source. Upon acquiring a vehicle diagnostic test from our certified ****** mechanic, we learned the vehicle we purchased 5 days earlier, the main issue, a faulty catalytic converter, would not pass the VA Emission's. We returned the vehicle back to Epovo Auto along with the diagnostic report. Of the list, Remi promised to replace the catalytic converter & the gas cap. It was extremely difficult to get any updates on the status of the vehicle, as our calls were not responded to. Finally dialing from my work number, the phone was finally answered, with promise from Remi of a follow-up call soon. Even afterwards, no attempt on the part of Epovo Auto to follow-up with us. Epovo Auto finally replaced the catalytic converter, not the gas cap. When picking up the vehicle for the 2d time, we inquired about the status of the temporary tags, and the owner told us the tags were not in, and upon receipt, would be mailed to our home. We have phoned Epovo Auto to ask about the status, our calls again, ignored. Phoning again on 15 April, we spoke with Rami asking about the vehicle tags, who promised to check the status and follow-up with us, but to no avail, as he never called back with a status of the tags. Today, 17 April, the temporary tags have expired, and places me in direct violation with Department of Motor Vehicle policies. We have not heard back from Epovo and unable to drive the vehicle with the expired tags. As part of this process, we expected professionalism, fairness, and appropriate customer service. It is apparent that Epovo Auto LLC entered this relationship solely fixated on getting the check only!!Business response

So customer bought the ****** from us next day called to say the check engine light was on. they brought the car back to us we found out it need a catalytic converter. So we ordered one which was on back ordered (a week out) and told *** the husband whom we were speaking with the whole time. They wanted the car back asap so once we finished the work on the car they came and picked it up we told them they had to do the emission they told us 2 weeks after the emission was done then we mailed them the tags. At the end of the day they bought a car AS-IS and we fixed the car at no cost to them it did take some time due to parts not available which is out of our hands.
