We were having issues with sewage coming up our main line and wanted to get it addressed before putting new flooring. We called Wisler and they said they could not find any problems and that everything looked fine. They advised we get someone to look at the septic tank, which we did. That company found no issues with our septic tank, so we installed the flooring. A few weeks later the sewage issue happened again. Wisler charged us several thousand dollars unsuccessfully trying to unclog it. They said there was a crack in the main line (the same main line they said was completely fine a few weeks prior) and that we needed to tear up the newly installed flooring so they could cut into the concrete and replace that cracked portion. When they dug it up, they then told us that our entire main line was cracked and needed to either be replaced (for an additional $10k) or coated with an epoxy sleeve ($15k) respectively. This was in addition to the several thousand dollars we'd already paid them and the costs we had to other contractors to tear up and then reinstall our new floors. Thankfully we got a second opinion. That plumber found that the way the Wisler technicians were cutting through our concrete was what causing the crack in the line to continue spreading. That new plumber dug it out a different way and we were able to do the repair for a couple thousand dollars compared to Wisler's $15k. We probably paid Wisler more for the failed attempts at repair than we did the plumber who actually fixed the issue. When I informed Wisler of this to cancel their monthly “Diamond Club” membership they sold us to get a discount on the jobs, they did not even bother to respond. Thanks ***** for the notification of the major concern. I have called, left messages, emailed, and text with no response. We also called and left messages multiple times in April when the request was made to cancel the membership with no response. We would love to hear from you to fully resolve this issue asap. The owner reached out multiple times to connect with us and was able to explain the situation. Our biggest frustration was that after we informed them of the issues months ago, we did not hear back. He assured us (and with a considerable amount of notes in their system) that they did reach out, although we did not receive the messages. I'm not sure why we did not get the messages, but I do believe him that they were sent. The feeling of being ignored after notifying them of what felt like a major oversight was more frustrating than anything else. On the issues of the plumbing itself, he gave some additional context of the work that was done and how a lot of the time spent was on diagnostics, which would have been required regardless of the company. Overall very helpful and just having this conversation with him was enough to resolve any remaining issues we had. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. Regards, ***** *****
