      I'm writing to let someone know I already had an vehicle that I purchased from Berguland I have had my Chevrolet Trax for 3yrs nothing was wrong with the only problem I had was my battery went bad and I was able to get another one, I last year kept receiving a letter from the dealership saying someone wanted to by my car so I ignored it at first and I still kept receiving the letters. One day I went into the dealership my sister and I spoke with a salesman and asked him why I was receiving these letters about someone wanted to buy my car, he explained to me and my sister that they are getting rid of the Chevrolet Trax cars, he literally told my sister and I we can get you into something else I explained to him I didn't want to get rid of my car the next thing you know he was getting figures for me on others car he explained to my sister and I we can get you into something today well that day was August the 4th of 2023 the car salesman quoted some figures and I explained to him that I did not want to go higher than the car payment that I already had he reassured my sister and I that wouldn't happen so when we got to the finance department the car payment went up so my car payment went from $484.00 to $650.00 the car that I have now you can tell that the car has been hit I had to purchase the valve stem covers for the car my key fob what I used to lock the door has tape on it the salesman gave me a number to get in contact with someone to get me another key fob for the car I don't think it should be my responsibility to do that meanwhile I have never missed a car payment with this dealership this is not the only car I have had they explained to me by making on timely payment it has increased my credit score. I have never experienced the service that I have received from the car dealership, I had my Chevrolet trax for 3yrs and never missed a payment the car I have now today will be my 6month payment and still have not been late you cannot do people wrong.

      I recently took my vehicle in to get serviced at Berglund Chevrolet on Williamson Road in Roanoke Virginia. I spoke with a gentleman by the name of Marvin and explained what was going on. I specifically told Marvin that the issue was coming from the front of my vehicle. Marvin and his technicians told me that the problem was in the suspension system in the back. They did $1400 of work, and needless to say the issue was not resolved. I then took it back and they told me the problem was in the front suspension system, and that they needed $800 more to get it fixed. There was also another problem that was mysteriously covered under the extended warranty. (Marvin specifically also told me that this issue that was covered under the extended warranty was not the reason for the issue.) Marvin also said they only had one of the parts and he would order it and call me once they had it. I decided to get a second opinion. I was then told that if the technicians at Berglund actually looked at the front suspension system, that they would've clearly seen what the problem was. The gentleman then told me that the noise I was hearing was nothing more than the control arm and ball joints, which is the issue that was covered by my extended warranty. After never hearing from Marvin again, I called to see if the parts was in. I'm guessing they "forgot to call me" to let me know. After a bunch of back and forth of when they could do this, they finally got me in. $1500 later, (because I had to pay $100 deductible for services under the extended warranty) my vehicle is fixed. I am devastated, because had they listened to me in the beginning, and actually checked the front, I would've only had to pay $100. Either the technicians there do not know what they are doing, or they really had an agenda to take my money. I'm just saying, with everything that is going on in the world, I definitely do not have $1400 to give to someone for no reason at all. Berglund just lost a loyal customer.

      I bought a 2017 Kia Sorento from Berglund used car super center on Franklin road, in Roanoke Virginia. I have had issues out of this car since I’ve bought it. I wish I never would have stepped foot on this lot. I’ve now taken this car to this dealership 5 times now to be told nothing is wrong with my car and it’s nothing they can do. They have said multiple times they do not have the equipment to work on my car. I’m not sure why they are still trying to look at it at this point considering they can’t help. I’ve now called corporate to file a complaint. My car has sat with them for two days now and all they can tell me is when they started the car it was fine no problem. I am very frustrated with this situation. At the end of the day they have sold me a LEMON that doesn’t work, & they are telling me if I want to trade my car I’ll be upside down (obviously) he told me I needed a co-signer, (when he knew my payments would go up based on the information he already had from me) so I’m taking the loss in this entire situation. I’m paying for a car that doesn’t work, they will not do anything to help me out or fix my car. They are only trying to get me into a car with a higher payment, several thousands of money down, &&& a co-signer. This isn’t fair at all. At the end of the day I’m the one missing time from work, going without a vehicle, still having to make my car payment, while just being told they can’t do anything or to take it to a different dealership to have them look at it. This is SUCH. Bad customer service.
