              Rainbow Restoration was referred to me by my insurance company after a house fire. The entire process was a nightmare and I am still the victim to their negligence. The shower pan was never put in so every time I showered the water went into my crawl space and puddled there. I have experienced months of sickness due to the mold in the crawl space because Rainbow never dried it out, put a vapor barrier down, replaced the insulation so the entire crawl space was covered in black mold. Outside of many medical bills, missed time from work and months of being sick I had to pay $7000.00 out of pocket to have a mold remediation company come in and take care of everything Rainbow was supposed to. I have reached out to the company, ***** Fischer, the owner and to no avail they are not willing to do the right thing and make up for their negligence!! It's very infuriating and pathetic that I was the victim and still the victim!!! I wouldn't recommend this business to absolutely nobody!!!

              We did respond to this back in 2020 and again beginning of 2021. We replaced the affected insulation, cleaned the affected area and dried it out. The vapor barrier that you are referring to was not part of our scope of work. We were only paid to replace 525 ** directly under your kitchen. We did not touch the remainder because we were not hired to nor paid to do this. We sent out a certified technician who confirmed it was dry and clean. The air samples were in line and not high for a Virginia crawlspace. I had communicated this and had been emailing **************** for the past several months and then just didnt hear back from her. I asked if she has had her hvac system cleaned recently and she never responded. We have investigated everything on our end and responded on multiple occasions and even went above and beyond to take care of any issues.
