    Dishwasher ********************* Purchased new 4/8/2022 finally verified for replacement 9/14/2022 still waiting. Attached is documentation of calls,time and people I've tried to resolve replacement.I mailed letter to ********** 10/22/2022 for further review and immediate replacement. I'm not to be charged for delivery, installation and installation hoses kit or removal of I operable dishwasher. Also would like $100 returned as **** at ********** mentioned possible breaker panel. Electrician verified breaker panel not an issue 7/21. On 8/6 ***************** per ********** set up for diagnostic. Copy of ground wire attached Tripple E stated was problem. Come to find out ground wire has no bearing on dishwasher to run per RVA repair arrived 8/23 stating. Needs computer board and motor. Fridgidare on 10/14 Manager stated via employee ****** no refund, they have no control over their wharehouse and we must get replaced from original store East Coast Appliance.Please help, thank you,

    Dear ****************: 

    East Coast Appliance believes in doing business the right way and we stand firmly behind our products, services and ECA policies and procedures.  We realize that we will never be able to satisfy 100% of our customers, but when a situation does arise, we do our best to resolve any issues and strive for the win-win solution.  We have strived for 27+ years to maintain a strong relationship with the BBB and the local community. 

     

    In response to the desire for settlement with us- ************** clearly states throughout her complaint that ******************************* Repair are the parties involved in the servicing of her appliance and she might realize her financial relief with one of these parties. While we did initially sell the appliance, we are not a self-servicing Frigidaire dealer in the ******** market---Frigidaire services their own appliances. We attempted to act as a liaison for ************** after we were notified of the issues and did what we could do to expedite her claim. All warranty issues have to be instigated by the consumer and at times we are able to apply pressure to achieve resolution but her dishwasher was out of stock and as soon as we received her replacement, we delivered and installed it no charge on 11/15- satisfying all other elements of her request. 

     

    We take pride in our service & products, the people who work for us, and our ECA Philosophy based on excellence and integrity that guides our business.  We tried to get the appliance cleared for replacement as quickly as we are able to but ultimately, the manufacturer is responsible for the product and makes that type of decision after having appliance inspected and serviced. Very similar to any major purchasethe manufacturer reserves the right to repair or replace but they service their products and we cannot overrule them.
