I entered into a contract with Ellis Home Improvement on May 12, 2021 to rebuild a deck on my property. Total cost of the the project was ***** which I paid in full upon completion of the work provided. A couple of weeks later, I discovered defects and some shoddy workmanship. After several attempts to contact the builder, he came out to my property on August 5, 2021 and reviewed the issues I complained about. He stated that he would make the necessary repairs to resolve my complaints on that weekend. He never showed up or gave me a courtesy call to inform me that he wasn't going to be able to make the repairs that weekend as he promised. I contacted him again on August 9, 2001. He stated that he would make the repairs on August 10, 2021. He didn't show up, nor give me a courtesy call. The resolution I seek is for him to make all agreed upon repairs, and stain over all repaired areas. Mr. ***** is definitely not a man of his word and in my opinion he lacks integrity.Business response

I have been in direct communication with the customer regarding his complaint. The matter at hand is regarding one of the boards which appears to have been defective. I will replace the board to resolve the issue. I am scheduled to do so Monday, August 30, 2021. I will take a before and after picture for proof that the matter has been resolved.
