On 3/7/24 Bay Disposal was scheduled to pick up our trash from the end of our driveway. This did not happen. When contacted, I was told the driver said the can was not out, even though it was placed out the night before as always. Our balance was up to date and we have paid for a service that was not completed and now no one will return my emails or calls. I am seeking reimbursement from that weeks worth of service and have not been contacted back or reimbursed.Business response

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience of the missed service. It is not our practice to not provide our customers with the service they ask and pay for. We will be happy to reimburse you for that weeks service and will make sure it does not happen again. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.Customer response

Re: Ambrose Disposal Services, Accoun* *********** Ambrose Paid Invoice #*********** Billing Period - 01/01/23 - 03/31/23 Paid with Check #**** on 1/3/2023 Discontinued disposal pickup service as of 1/31/2023. Paid 3 months in advance (January thru March, 2023). Notified Ambrose of cancellation & requested refund of 2 months ASAP. We were promised refund check within 6 weeks. Multiple communications with Ambrose/Bay Disposal agents to provide remedy to this failure to refund. Similar promises of refund payment at the conclusion of these communications. An initial refund check was issued on 4-5-23 (check * *********** for the customers refund. We were notified by the customer that they never received the check. We can only assume it was lost in the mail. We requested on 5-15-23 to cancel that check and have another re-issued. A check was cut on 6-6-23 (check # ********) and the customer should receive this through the postal service (should receive week of 6-19-23). We do apologize for the initial check getting lost but we have sent out another check in its place.Customer response

I set up service with Bay Disposal on August 8, 2021 and paid ahead for 3 months of service. I was informed I would receive my trash and recycling receptacles on August 16, 2021. I did not receive my receptacles, and have subsequently attempted to reach out over the course of a week now. No one has answered my calls or returned the multiple voicemails that have been left. No one has responded to the multiple email attempts, or the attempts to contact through the app. I have no updates on when my receptacles will arrive, why they have not been received, etc.Business response

This should have been communicated to you when you signed up for service and we apologize for the lack of communication on our part. Two weeks ago I sent an email to their customer service department about replacing my broken garbage can. First email said to leave on the street on a Tuesday to be replaced. Week later still not replaced. Told the following Friday of the new Tuesday day after a week of waiting it would be replaced, hasn't been. Left a voicemail and no response. Still have a broken garbage can on the curb waiting replacement.Business response
