The Nova Solar team went above and beyond with our solar system installation. We engaged six solar system installation companies both directly and through energysage.com (our connection to Nova Solar), evaluating system designs, components, warranties, company longevity and other customers feedback. Nova Solar was a clear standout. We appreciated Nova Solars willingness to conduct a physical site survey before the sale (roof measurements, electrical system assessment) providing an assurance that before we placed a sizeable sum of money on contract, they could actually deliver results; other companies will make a home visit for sales, but not conduct a physical site survey. Nova Solar installed a high efficiency *************************************************************** one day. When our Fredick County ******** ********** of ******* and Inspections insisted on additional electrical components unsupported by code, the Nova Solar team provided guidance from the ************************************* Director of ************************ refuting the inspectors assumptions resulting in final system approval. The Nova Solar team could have elected the easy route of charging customers more to meet this unnecessary requirement, but instead did the right thing by engaging with County Permitting to ensure we (and other solar system customers) are not overpaying for unnecessary electrical components. The Nova Solar team also provided detailed after sale guidance on capturing economic incentives to include the federal tax credit, applying for the MD solar ****** contacting our electric company for account credit preferences, registering our system for the Solar **************** Certificates payments scheme, and highlighted the added benefit of MD law which prevents system impacts to property valuations (effectively an untaxed capital improvement). We highly recommend NovaSolar for your installation and wish the team members at Nova Solar continued business success.

my experience was top notch with Nova solar. They were transparent, professional and reliable throughout the installation process. They did quality work with modern panels and micro inverters. I highly recommend this company which prides itself on a job well done.

We used Nova Solar to install a solar panel system at our home. Throughout the process Nova Solar was excellent. All of their staff were knowledgeable, easy to work with, and always provide quick responses. They provided detailed and timely answers to our many questions about installing panels on our home. The permits and installation went smoothly. Their detailed analysis allowed us to determine our expected performance and costs. Our system has been running for two months now and is providing the expected performance. When one of the microinverters malfunctioned, they coordinated the timely replacement per warranty. They have continued to provide quick responses to questions after our system became operational. We have total confidence Nova Solar will continue to help us if any issues occur in the future. An excellent experience working with Nova Solar. We reviewed options and companies for solar as our new home was being built. We decided to use Nova Solar. They were helpful from beginning to completion. We had problems getting approval of the solar panels from our HOA. Nova Solar worked with us to provide all the necessary information and reconfiguration to get the approval. They managed all the building and electrical permits and all the necessary inspections. Once the panels and system were set up, they kept us advised on the status of Dominion Energy getting us connected. We were very impressed with the guidance they gave us on setting up the monitoring system and engaging a company to obtain Solar Renewable Energy Credits. They even provided a completed sample Federal Income Tax form for the tax credit and provided the completed form and guidance on applying for our county's property tax relief. Highly recommend.

After getting estimates from several solar companies, we chose Nova Solar for our project, which is now complete, and operating well. We were completely happy with all their work throughout the process and especially happy with how well they communicated with us to keep us informed of progress all along the way. Particularly noteworthy was the performance of the electrician who cleaned up a lot of the work done by previous technicians. His comment was, I can't stand to leave a job where the finished work would reflect poorly on me - a refreshing perspective when viewed against the work of most cable installers! Nova Solar did an excellent job and had very competent staff.

Nova Solar is an excellent company. From the start, they were immediately different from other solar installers: they listened to what we wanted to do, accommodated our special projects and requests and went out of their way to provide the best final product. Everyone, from the sales team, project managers, installation crews and other employees were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The final product is this amazing backyard space where we can generate power, escape from the sun at a picnic table and hangout throughout the year. We just finished producing our first megawatt, and are looking forward to more. You cannot go wrong with Nova Solar!

Nova Solar designed and installed our system and made the entire process so easy for us. They handled all the background work with permits and even helped us with our HOA documents. Everyone was friendly and professional to deal with. We liked the products they offered and their price was considerably better than the local competition.
