    Genius auto trans (********* *****) and I made a car shipping contract through the buisness. Before delivery he had his friend demanding money from me much higher price then contract. Then held my car hostage until they got the money. So the deposit and the delivery fee was paid to HIM and not the company and the company would not give me my car.

    The company committed to providing me a carrier after giving my deposit and that didnt happen. They told me I would be permitted to receive my deposit back and refused to refund me when asked. The drive was a no call no show on 6/20/2024 and then I was promised he would show up at noon on 6/21/2024 that changed to between 4-6pm then driver text at 8pm saying he wouldnt arrive until near 9pm I declined service and reach out to the company requesting my refund again and was told I wouldnt be getting it back but a customer rep named ********* who began to scream at me and I made him aware he would not speak in that manner and that I planned to take legal action. Ive provided documents of the conversations that transpired from 6/19-6/21

    To whom it may concern:

    The customer (***********************) placed the order with us on June 19th 2024 and paid a $200 deposit to have their vehicle (2019 Chevrolet Equinox) shipped from *******, ** to ******, **. As a broker company we assigned a carrier to move the vehicle and notified the customer as agreed upon, however, since on-road trucking is a little uncertain business as the truck drivers can get into any unforeseen problems. Same happened with the driver that we assigned he faced a little more traffic than he had anticipated so he (Politely) asked us if he can pickup the vehicle Tomorrow (June 21st) instead of Today (June 20th) to which we instructed our driver to go ahead and pick it up the next after getting a consent from the customer (***********************) and it was all sorted, the whole time our team was very transparent about everything and kept the customer posted at all time but the customer was anxious the whole time for no apparent reason. The next day (June 21st) the driver was on his way to pick up the vehicle he was roughly 2 hours out he called us (Genius Auto Trans) and informed us about the situation he was in and apologized for the delay. We subsequently informed the customer that he is on his way but the customer chose to create drama out of it by threatening us and telling us now it don't want to have it picked up and if the driver shows up (on the agreed day) I will have the driver arrested tell him not to come here.

    Our job as a broker company is to provide the customer with the carrier, once we have provided a carrier our job is pretty much done there unless there's any problem at either the drivers end or the customer's end. We have a 100% refund policy incase we are for any reason not able to assign a carrier on the order, however, in this scenario we did our job, the drive drove dead miles to the customer location but she for God knows what reason decided not to handover the car to the driver. this is clearly a cancellation attempt at the customer end after receiving our service.

    Please find all the supporting screenshots of the conversation between the customer and our shipping representative as proof that we indeed provided a carrier.

    Since this is a customer cancellation the deposit of $200 is NOT REFUNDABLE.

    Moving my sons car to California - I called for quotes - I was quoted $835 - they sent contract - I signed - I paid $150 - with a balance of $685 to be paid upon delivery to California.  At no point was I told that this amount would change. I was communicating mostly by text and calls to ********************* - though I did speak to her supervisor *****! On Monday 24th July I still had not been advised time - even though car was to be collected Tuesday 25th. ***** then came back saying it would be collecte Monday evening or Wednesday at an additional charge - I told her no that was not acceptable.. by the end of business day - I have text saying car will be collected at the agreed price on Tuesday (today). I called to get a window of the collection only to be told that the vehicle had broke down and that they could still collect but it would now be $1000 total! I asked for a refund of my deposit, she said I would have cancellation charges. Arguing once thing on phone, another in txt! At this stage in the game I cannot find someone to collect, and had to agree! Which I'm guessing they were banking on! Moving is stressful enough without being ripped off! I thought when you signed a contract that was a binding document now I have to find another $150 just to complete the business when I have all of it in writing and text

    We understand the inconvenience you had to go through. We looked into the matter and discovered that you were informed about the problems with picking up your vehicle and the reasons for the increase in price before we sent a substitute driver to pick it up. Your vehicle was only picked up after you agreed on a revised price and provided written consent.

    Mechanical failures happen in the trucking industry, something that cannot be regulated or predicted. However, we apologize for not having explained all possible scenarios at the start.
    Attached below are the screenshots of you giving the acknowledgement for the revised price.

    Also, you can see the driver’s confirmation email that the
    vehicle was received by your designated delivery contact.

    I paid Genius Auto Trans $150 for a deposit on April 21 2023 through my **** app ******************. They were supposed to pickup my 2015 *** ****** LX in Kent, Ohio to Houston, Tx  on April 22, 2023. After 4 days of paying the deposit, ********* told me there is no driver to pickup the car at $675 but he found one for $775, I disagreed. He came back after 2 more days that the driver he got is charging $950. I cancelled the order and ask for refund on April 27, 2023 but until today May 09, 2023, I haven't received my refund, they don't answer my calls and text messages. Please get them to refund my $150. I paid to **********. ********* assisted me on **************, *************************************

    December 2022 we contacted this auto shipper to transport a vehicle from ******** to *****. They quoted a price and before the vehicle was picked up they took a deposit of 150 dollars. They then called later on after missing the initial pickup day saying the price had almost doubled. We did not agree to that and then the driver or another employee reached out and asked for a cash deposit upon pickup. Once again we declined that and when I reached out for a refund they denied it and said we canceled the transaction. Even after the company intentionally mislead us on pricing doubled the final costs and held our deposit ****** they shifted blame on us for not accepting a vastly different price for the original service price. Now they refuse to return the deposit money stating that because we did not accept a doubling in cost from the quote we had been giving at first we are responsible for canceling and they are keeping the money. This company is untrustworthy and predatory in their pricing and changing of contracts they can not fulfill.

    I paid Genius Auto $150 for a deposit on August 26, 2022 via **** ***. They were supposed to pickup a vehicle I purchased from North Port, Florida today September 1, 2022. They haven’t and can’t pick it up because they have no drivers, but won’t refund my money. They keep giving me the runaround. Please get them to refund my $150
