    Absolute Asphalt recently repaved my driveway with a new layer of asphalt. I am very pleased with their work. Absolute was one of four companies that submitted bids for the job. Although they were about 15% higher than the company with the lowest price, Absolute appeared to be the most competent of the four. Their estimator spent more time with me explaining what they would do and answering my questions. Unlike the others, before leaving he gave me a printed proposal that included addresses of other driveway work that the company had performed and another chance to ask questions.The work was to begin at 9 a.m., and the employes and equipment were at my house at exactly that time. They finished my medium-sized driveway 2.5 hours later. It looks better than the original driveway when the house was new. Another positive: the estimator for the work was on site supervising the work.The work required about a dozen employees and several types of equipment: three dump trucks, a backhoe, an asphalt paver, an asphalt roller, a compactor, and some hand equipment. It was impressive to watch the team at work. Everyone did a specific job working in close proximity to others, yet no one ever got in someone elses way. It was obvious that they had done the work dozens if not hundreds of times before. After the driveway was finished, they cleaned up the area of debris. In summary, a fine job.
