We contacted Showroom Transport to tow our 5th wheel from New Mexico to Washington. We set up the transport 3 months early but had to cancel. We immediately contacted showroom transport and was told by ** that we will get our deposit refunded minus 10% for canceling within 5 to 7 business days. That was on Sept 22nd, 2022. It is now Feb 2nd, 2023 and still no refund. We have called them over 20 times (literally) and we cannot get anyone to call us back. We did reach ** one time and he said he was going to check on it. It has been 3 weeks and no call back and still no refund. We have exhausted all options to get our money back so we had to file this complaint. We hope that we will get our refund after this is filed.Business response

Thank you for letting us know the details of the complaint.
Since the customer definitely cancelled the order before 3/24/23 which was the initial request for the 5th wheel trailer to be picked up from New Mexico, the customer is entitled to receive a refund of the deposit except for 10% of the total cost of the order.
On February 28, 2023 I hand keyed the refund information into the credit card machine. The customer should see the refund into the **** card early this week.

I had called Showroom Transport on Nov 1st, 2022. I put in a request to have my 30ft RV moved from Tabor City NC to Myrtle Beach SC. Was told that it would take up to 4 days to find a truck to move my RV. I was notified that I would have to pay half of the 796.00 up front. 398.00 was charged on 1 Nov and I was given invoice #68466. I called on 5 Nov, 2022 to be told that still looking for a driver and would be called back immediately when one was found. I was never called again. I waited until 1 DEC and called back to request a refund. Was told by the customer service agent that this move should have already been taken care of and that my request would be forwarded to a supervisor to get my refund.. My refund has yet to be returned. I have called Showroom transport on Dec 20 & left a voice message called again on Dec 22 and yet again on Dec 24 and was told both times that a supervisor would call me to remedy the problem. I just want my money returned. I have had to hire someone else to do the move as this company failed to. I have been extremely patient with this company and all I want is the 398.00 they were quick to charge my card but failed to provide the service for. I have attached a screenshot of the charge to my credit card.Customer response

Like other reviews here I spoke with ** after his driver drove my 85K tiny house into a ditch causing significant damage due to obvious driver negligence. The driver was literally half way off of the road and luckily a large tree caught the tiny house or it would have rolled down a hill and been totally destroyed. I called ** immediately and asked if he should call a wrecker to get the house out or if I should as I was aware of someone in the area. He suggested I contact the local service I knew about who came out and not only pulled the house out of the ditch but also drove the house the rest of the way into the driveway because they were concerned about the driver's ability to drive. ** shared that all I needed to do was send the pictures and invoices and they would get it taken care of. Like others here I have called 30-40 times over the last few months during which ** has verbally agreed over the phone to refund my original payment and reimburse me for the expenses I paid for the damage they caused. He has said he has mailed a check, all lies and now has stopped responding at all about the remaining $1600n I am owed. I am writing this as part of my affidavit as I am now pursuing legal action against this absolutely despicable company. I even contacted others on their website with no response at all.Business response

Merchant Services let us know that the cardholder's account has been credited as a result of the chargeback of the amount the customer has paid to us. We have not challenged it.

I paid showroom transport ****** to pickup a 5 th wheel on yesterday and deliver same day to ********* ********. They picked up the trailer and first driver dumped it at the reasors bc he said was falling apart. He drove with a bad tire for few miles to get there. Dumps is there: I express my concern of it being there to supervisor he assured me everything is okay. Sending driver next morning which Im not happy about at all. Next day says they are gonna have to give me my money bc it cant be transported. Yet I tell them the trailer is gone so how is thats then he trys saying that guy it came from must came and got it. He had no way to hall and he gave to me bc my mother and I house burned down. So Ive yet to receive my trailer that they say not responsible for and or my money back . We have used Showroom Transport for different shipping projects for our company. Based on this, I decided to use them to ship a car for me from Ohio to California. I received a shipping quote of $2,400 (quote *****) on July 20, 2021. I made the decision to move forward and made the payment of $2,400, via debit card, on July 22, 2021. For a variety of reasons, I decided not to go forward with the transaction and called the owner - ******************* - on Friday, July 23, 2021 to cancel the shipping order. ** confirmed that the order was cancelled and said a refund would be issued to me. As of today, August 27, 2021, I have not received a refund. I spoke with ** at least twice in person and he assured me that the refund would be issued. Last live contact was around 3 weeks ago.I call ** literally every day and have now left at least 50 voice messages and different emails regarding this refund. All communication from Showroom Transport has stopped as of 3 weeks ago.Business response

We engaged this company & ** to transport our boat from WV to CO April 2021. Upon inspecting our boat the day it was delivered, we noticed that our ****** & enclosures were missing. We immediately contacted the company and they said that we needed to reach out to the transportation company. At this point, we realized they subcontracted our boat to another vendor. We were told by them to get a bid for the replacement. We provided them a bid 2 weeks later & the subcontractor told us she only had to replace like kind & she found another used ****** from another boat. She did not like the bid we were provided & didn't understand that these are custom pieces for a boat. Our lost items were practically brand new and a reason why we purchased this boat. We asked to deal with ** directly & not the subcontractor. ** said he would handle it and work out a solution. Since then, he has ignored our calls & emails. He has gone completely quiet refusing to do anything. Both won't file an ins claim.Business response

Our invoices to customers clearly state that the transport we arrange for are done by a select network of reliable transporters throughout the United States.
Our customers did not accept the offer of the replacement of the ****** top of like kind that was made to her for her boat.
Since out customer had two chargebacks done of $1500.00 each for a total of $3000.00 that she made by her **** car for the transport of the 2011 boat from West Virginia to Colorado we will not and have not refuted the chargebacks.
The cardholders account has been credited as result of the 2 chargebacks the total of $3000.00 which is more than the cost of the kind ******.

RV picked up 4/28/21, delivered 5/1/21. While in possession of the driver hired by this company either he or someone else entered the RV with a master key or by picking the lock. While in the RV they opened the ceiling vent. The driver then drove with it open damaging the vent so that it doesn't close properly. While putting stuff away I stepped on an earring which pierced my skin. I later found the match. I don't own any earrings. We also found a bandana that wasn't ours. As a result of an unknown person being in our home I had to scrub every surface they might have touched because of the virus. Not knowing whether they were vaccinated or exposed to the virus. The owner of the company said their drivers don't enter the RVs and threatened me on the phone. He said he would look into it but hasn't responded since 5/1. I am asking for a partial refund to pay for the installation of a new roof vent and compensation for the time spent cleaning after the illegal entry of our RV.Business response

We cannot recognize or honor the complaints based on the assumption made by the customer.
No damages were noted on the Bill of Lading by the customer or the driver.
C.O.D. was paid to the driver at the delivery location.

I am rejecting this response because: We did show the driver that the roof vent was opened and hadn't been when we left. His response - oh, I didn't see that. Of course there is going to be damage to the roof vent when it is open and driven for a length of time. We did call the company and tell the owner that someone had been inside. He said he would look into it. He also said that he was going to report the illegal entry of our RV to the FBI. Did he? Because we have received no contact from them or any verification that he did so. Nothing was done. We had to pay the driver at that time because he would not unhook our RV until we did so. The damage was not made apparent until the wind blew and we saw that it wasn't properly closing. It rattle every single time there is a gust of wind. I provided photos of the earring that were found in the RV. This company does not want to take responsibility for their driver's actions. It is apparent from reading so many negative reviews online about them.
