In December 2017, the company installed a drainage system and sump pump in my basement to resolve an issue I was having with moisture/paint bubbling on the concrete floor and other signs of moisture damage. I paid the company for the work and another contractor for the "put back" (drywall, painting, shelving reinstallation, etc). The drainage system was warrantied. Around August 2022, I contacted the company to let them know that the work they did had not resolved the problem and I was seeing the exact same damage. They told me they had no record of performing work at my house because the company split in two and it seems those who left took some of the records. I later found the documents from the work done in 2017 and sent them a copy. I told them that a water intrusion specialist came out to inspect the issue and determined that the bubbling reoccurred because the drainage system wasn't properly installed. I contacted this company, let them know the determination of the other contractor, and asked that this company reimburse me. I have made several requests for someone to respond to my email, without success. Someone from the company named ***** was scheduled to call me at 1:30 pm on 12/8/22. He failed to do so. I have received no follow-up communication from this company. I believe this is a deliberate attempt by them to not honor their warranty obligations. I am now prepared to have another contractor come in to resolve the issue by properly installing a drainage system, and will again have to pay for another "put back" after the work is completed. I am seeking a refund for the $2,200 I paid for the drainage system (not seeking sump pump costs), and $1000 towards "put back."Customer response
